A man was hospitalized after he was shot by someone on a scooter Sunday night in the Austin neighborhood, Chicago police said.
The 35-year-old was outside about 10:15 p.m. in the 900 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue when a male gunman on a scooter opened fire in his direction, police said in a statement.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds , police said. He was listed in fair condition. Police reported no arrests.

A Venezuelan migrant has been ordered detained after prosecutors accused him of dragging a Chicago police officer with a car during a South Side traffic stop, then biting and punching officers while threatening to kill one of them.
Jose Yorwin Marquez, 22, is charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer, two counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer, and multiple traffic violations, including driving without ever having been issued a driver’s license.
Remember, this is who Fata$$ is protecting and who Conehead is spending countless million on.

Potential jail time is the key phrase. More than likely you’ll spend your jail time at home on house arrest. Illinois and more notably Cook County are a criminals wet dream. Anything goes here with virtually no one being held accountable for their misdeeds.
