I know a way the car could have stopped…pull over! But as usual it’s the fault of the police. No accountability for the driver or its occupants. Oh well, they learned the hard way.

After the median was re-done on that bridge, I noticed that in the middle they did not put concrete barriers at the center to prevent a car from doing exactly what just happened. In the past there were concrete barriers to prevent that, all they did was install meta barriers that run parallel with the road.

It’s absolutely true. Watch the video. CPD did a pursuit report for it because they chased it from 55 and Cicero all the way to when it crashed. CPD, forest view, ISP will all be sued for this along with a combination of Bedford park and the railroad who maintain the bridge over the tracks for not having adequate barriers in place. Now you multiply that by 4 victims and this will be over a hundred million paid out. The driver will get the least amount of money, if any, but the other 3 passengers will get a ton of money.
