Checking Those Numbers
Not saying that this was us....but we were in the area:
A Powerball ticket sold in Illinois matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's drawing, winning an estimated $1.04 billion jackpot, according to the lottery organization.
The winning numbers were 4, 26, 66, 67, 69 and red Powerball 9. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
It's the largest Powerball jackpot so far this year, and the eight-largest Powerball jackpot in the game's history.
If we disappear suddenly, assume the best.

Hey Mister can you spare a little change?
SCC, your daily contributions to the working CPD copper are worth more than any amount of the fake US fiat currency. We all greatly appreciate what you do for us, Sir!
And here we thought the proceeds from lottery sales were going to lower state expenditures. Just like the tolls that were designed to go away. What a joke.
can't lose if you don't play...
I guess I am sticking around. I am such a loser.
Now, kees me you fool!!!!
What was the states cut?
I used to play the lottery when the jackpot got ridiculously big. Now they are in the billion dollar range. Back then I watched the drawing live and held my tickets close. Do they even broadcast the drawing anymore? Now I live out west and can gamble 24/7 if I choose. Let me state this clearly. If you dont play, you dont lose. Anyways...good luck to the winner. Spend wisely!
I won 4 dollars
Your odds are better getting shot by the police and calling Crump and Sharpton. The payout might not be as big but you will get paid. It might burn a little too.
Sure....who the hell goes to Quincy ?
That's like a $100 million for our schools tax wise ?
Remember when the multi-state Powerball lottery people threatened to shut Illinois out for not paying their share?
Free by 1973 they promised
It’s nice that into retirement you still have your nose to the grindstone and getting pertinent information to us readers. It gets more difficult to stay in the fold as time goes by but hopefully your partners that are still out there do their due diligence to keep you and all of us in the fold and aware of the day to day decisions being made by the department. Keep up the good work SCC and you’ll get your reward in the end.
Amen!
You also can’t win if yo play.
