One Way to Fight Crime

  • Three burglars died and a suspect escaped after their car crashed into a Georgia pond while on the run from police on Monday.

The police chase began after officers received a call about a burglary at a Sprint PCS store in Fayetteville around 4:30 a.m., Fox 5 Atlanta reported. When they arrived, they chased a car with four men that was leaving the scene.

Three of the men were identified as Mark Anthony Mathis, 19, Eddie Alford, 21, Devongelo Hunter, 19.

The police pursuit continued to Clayton County where the suspected burglars' car struck another vehicle, went airborne and crashed into a pond, police said. The car was submerged within 15 minutes.
Well they certainly won't be doing that again!

Here we go again...

"...the responsibility for the incident rests squarely on the shoulders of the driver who refused to stop when a sheriff's sergeant who spotted the car driving without headlights activated his emergency lights. The girls' guardians, Gualtieri said, also bear some blame for failing to keep track of children who had already racked up several auto theft charges."

Pond surfing. The rich, they learn to sail.
The poor, they learn physics the hard way.

Three dead?
If that chase had happened in Rahm's city there would have been an entire district sent to callback!

Wishes for a speedy recovery to the person in the car struck by the fleeing criminals.

Find the fourth criminal and charge him with three counts of felony murder.

They should have planned ahead and had scuba gear in their getaway vehicle.

They hit 3 cell phone stores the other night in 016. 025 gave it a good try going after the offenders as it was on the border. Gonna get a lot busier when the nicer weather gets her consistently

Good job! Not one single Officer injured and three scumbags bite the dust, er, ah...mud! All in all, a good day in Georgia.
BLM? Need to be put on the endangered species list. Promoting stupidity is not a good idea even if it is well funded and organized by democrats.

Just a coincidence that former obamaFoneĀ® cellphone burglar/robbers are from Fayette County GA and similarly named Fayetteville NC (Dec 2016) ? Both involve the usual lawless feral just clowning for some no longer entitled free stuff.
I think the community members/feral urban predators, stole the sunken getaway car too.

But it's just another Democrat-sponsored nation phenomenon - stealing cars, burglarizing cell stores and the non-chase.
Everybody is getting into the action, coast to coast since Democrats turned up the leniency.
As if armed carjacking, bum rush shoplifting and general armed violence isn't enough at the moment the feral youth are always looking for the next best unchallenged hot minute crime spree sensation.
Chicago recently had 3 cellphone hit in a four hr. period overnight in 016 this week.
What did CPD spokesweenie Guglehymie say, "it's an apparent uptick pattern in A-North and A-Central"?
Property crime, no big deal, go buy another whatever got stolt by the underprivileged.

There's a saying that my grandmother told us kids, for copying the stupid act that another person had just done...I can't recall what it was.....see and do or something, hmmmmm.

CPD brass and Rahm doesn't want CPD pursuing anyone for anything.
Pathetic and simply furthering their effort to make CPD a toothless enforcement agency.

I can only imagine the conversation within the car when that thing hit the water. The mfing from those three must have been something until they were swallowing water.

Everyone of the FOP Board members who voted to give one of our assets, a $18,000 vehicle to Dean Angelo, should be brought up on charges. They are the swamp in the FOP. Is there anyone with balls enough to step up and do the right thing, like protecting the assets of the members from scammers like Dean and those Board members who voted to give away our money? We may be forced to accept this type of bullshit from cpd and the city but not in our own union.
