Best case scenario is they crash and get injured or killed while fleeing without any police chasing them. Maybe they'll even flee to a county that prosecutes criminals.

I’m long retired and not from CPD at that, so maybe I should keep my trap shut, but I wonder how this would workout if someone tried to intervene. If an armed citizen approached it would three on one, and the three are sociopaths, hardened to the ways of street combat. The citizen would lose this fight. As someone else here opined that snipping them from the second floor window with a deer rifle, or worse yet, an AR is going to lead to a world of hurt for the citizen.
If a patrol happened on these three it would be three semiautomatic rifles against pistols. How’s that going to work out? But, let’s say the patrol happened to approach these three when they were driving away. If the cops are smart, they would call it in, not follow, or chase. If the cops did chase we all know how that would work out.

Retired former resident of Bt. 1611 here. I NEVER saw the police in my nerighborhood. During the day, or coming home and walking my dog at night. Ill grant you that a lot of my neighbors were the police and would have called 911 if necessary, but the response times were always around 20 minutes. From what I have heard, it is even worse now. Keep your cars parked in the garage...It seems like overkill to keep an armed guard standing by to steal a converter. They likely knew they were in a police neighborhood. These theives may be dangerous. Be careful out there. If you dont already have one, get a big dog. They are a good distraction to let lose while you take aim at an offender.
