Police Matter?
Sounds like a perfect opportunity to roll out those Mental Health Responders:
A McKinley Park woman who lost her cat in January said he's been sitting dead for weeks on top of her neighbor's roof, and she hasn't been able to get him back.
Jadine Wambaja shared surveillance video footage showing a cat somehow landing on her neighbor's roof. She believes it's her cat, Scarface. "He was flung like he was garbage up on the roof," Jadine Wambaja said. "In the video, you see the cat tossed up, and seconds later, if you look at the man's back door, you could see someone walk inside."
The aldercreature posted video of the subject tossing the dead cat on the roof (if you find a working link, post it). The back yard looks like a disaster and the article further states the occupant isn't opening hte door and seems to have barricaded it shut.
Maybe someone from 009 can update the readers?

Unlike the cat, I always bounce back from death.
Wait for the guy to leave, get a ladder, and go grab the cat.
Meow. Typical democrat. Can't figure outa way to get her cat down without the assistance of government, namely a democrat elected official. Seriously, the number of shootings , murders, robberies, parking zone violations, the proliferation of rodents in a debris strewn yard or the threat from armed habitual criminal street gangs are of no concern in the community. Priorities.
According to a 02/07/2025 PETA release: "Wiseguys are back in the Windy City courtesy of PETA ... "
Doesn't the fire side rescue cats in the trees and receive heroism awards for their bravery? I'm sure an EMS truck could accompany an ambulance to the scene in an attempt to rescue and then resuscitate the pretty kitty. Remember, "We are there when you need us". That's only if the CFD truck has operating brakes and isn't rusted into disrepair.
This guy should be getting his meds from Nurse Ratched everyday, but instead he is throwing a dead cat on a roof. Thank you Jimmy Carter, this is much better
The state of Chicago! Do-do.
This is now news?
No police matter, a cat is only property. No solid proof anyone had anything to do with throwing a cat up on the roof. Thats what civil courts are for.
Do like back in Ye Ole days.....Just burn them out.
Conehead will be offering a settlement by Monday....
