I am getting a headache from all the two "leftisthebest." I clicked on the names at 1:27 a.m. and 2:29 a.m. and it looks like there are two "lefty" sites. The earlier time has more "hits" than the later one, 2hcih has a picture, so I assume the earlier "lefty" is the orginal guy. To the fake "lefty," whomever you are, you have to be drunk or something, so grow up.

I can tell the poor guy why he didn't pass when many others did. The Dept does not want aggressive Officers, It is in direct conflict their CAPS mentality. If a Ex-serviceman comes in for the test he or she is already knocked down a few points on the psych test.

My daughter works for an unnamed county in Illinois. Yesterday she was told by her supervision to wear a black ribbon on her lapel in honor of Corretta Scott King. My daughter stated she did not want to wear it because she is not african american, and, frankly wasn't aware of anything she did that would warrant such a request, except marry Martin Luther King. To make a long story short, she was told to wear it because she had to or else.
Can you imagine? Do you see any other county office employees wearing black ribbons when a police officer is killed in the line of duty? Perhaps, I'm wrong about this. If it were me they told to wear the black ribbon, I would have said, "go fuck yourself, I quit."
Then during the course of the day, a black male kept giving my daughter a difficult time because she was wearing the ribbon and she was not AFRICAN AMERICAN! He demanded she take it off and give it to him. She told him to leave the building and wait for his wife outside or she would call security. That's how heated the discussion became which in her words to me, "scared me, Mom"

I just got my retiree concealed carry permit after qualifying at a range with the state.
With any luck, I will never need to actually fire my weapon. Phone 9-1-1 unless you're confronted by a life-threatening situation with no other options.
However, in view of rare incidents of "friendly fire" across the nation (recently New York City), I went over to the Cop Shop at 5247 N. Central Ave. and bought a "Boston leather" neck chain, star and I.D. holder for $12. You can conceal it beneath your shirt. It's a perfect fit for your retired star and neatly holds the three necessary I.D. cards beneath clear plastic on the other side.
In the NYC incident, the off-duty P.O. was holding an offender on the ground at gunpoint when on-duty police arrived. When the on-duty P.O. approached from behind, announced his office and ordered him to drop the gun, a tragedy occurred.
The off-duty P.O. turned towards the responding officers with gun in hand. He was critically wounded. His shield and ID were later found in his back pocket. P.O. Ed Hernandez remains hospitalized, fighting for his life.
The on-duty P.O. was blameless and is being counseled for emotional trauma.
An intoxicated officer, active or retired, should never be carrying a firearm.

How can you empathize with that guy? He whipped out the race card about the white female recruit trying to hang herself. The best part is that chick was black. Maybe he failed the psych because he sees himself as a victim. Anyone who reads this blog knows we already have enough coppers like that.

and what was ron hubberman before ADS? I believe his title was given as "Director" of some crap and that was only done because all the ADS spots were filled at the time. What was he before this crap "Director" position....patrolman
He is also still carried as detached services so when Daley is gone or hubberman is pushed out of his position he can return back to the police. Hopefullly by then the ones in charge while figure out his bullshit and he is bumped back down to patrol but we all know that will never happen.
Apparently Huberman has been telling those closest to him that he's going to be the next Superintendent after Cline is gone.
Makes sense. None of Daley's prior Chiefs of Staff have served in that position over 18 months. By the time Cline goes, it'll be just about time for Daley to replae Huberman and move him somewhere else.
Huberman's career service rank is PO. If anyone thinks that he'll be busted down to PO and work a beat car, you're dillusional! He'll resign and go to the private sector before that happens.
