Community Alert? Why?
We touched on this subject a few months ago, but why waste department resources alerting dope fiends that their habits might lead to their untimely demise?
When you look at it through a copper's perspective, or even through a dispassionate citizen's perspective, a Community Alert is actually a hindrance to the drug problem. These people are coming into citizen's neighborhoods to commit felonies. Dealers will kill each other (a felony) in an effort to secure territory in which to commit other felonies. If enough users keep dying, they will stop coming into the 'hood to commit felonies, the territory will become less valuable to the dealers, they will move out and peace will reign throughout the land. The grass will grow, property values will rise and life will improve.
Who says capitalism isn't self correcting?

As I watch the news about the attacks on the embassy's of Europe, I see what we have seen and have been ridiculed for by most of Europe. That is, That these "people of a peaceful religion" are all O.K.'d and it is the big bad United states that is evil. Well last I checked burning of buildings and calling for the heads of people over a cartoon is far from peaceful. Is this what it takes for Europe to understand that most of these people HATE us and will use any excuse to vilify us, by us I mean infidels which is what they think we are. I thank God that it wasn't a "European 9/11" but this is small enough to say its just what they deserve.

What gets me was the last few lines in the article in the paper: "...beware of free heroin..." WTF??? How I love the Media, I truly do. Dear Mr/Mrs Whoever in the Media, do us a big favor, and print "jump off a bridge/cliff", so the Lemmings could follow! (Emphasis on the period) or "Drugs can and eventually will kill you" or a simple "Dont do drugs". Dont get me wrong, I COULD CARE LESS about 12 dead junkies, 120, or 1200 dead junkies for that matter, they get what they deserve! We are at war? Better tell the idiots here in the city and that little organization the Catholic Church. I went to mass last week at Queen of all Saints, the basilica, and there was not even one prayer for our troops. I looked in the bulletin and there was nothing about the war or a please pray for the soldiers there either. However, there was an invitation to hear father Pflager speak at a luncheon on racism and a schedule of what the school children at QAS were going to do to celebrate BHM. What a joke. No priorities because the liberals want us to loose. How the fuck can we win a war when it is ignored?

It's better west of Ozanam Ave. Since the start of the Iraq War the intentions of the Mass at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church have always included the safety of our troops and their speedy return. Pretty straight guy that Father Carl Morelllo and his assistant pastors. Thats why we went over the city border a few blocks to return to sanity from the idiots at the parish down the street.
Its dissappointing so many of the city parishes are loaded with leftists and fruits. Save yourself-Vote McCain and Pope Benedict.
Its the quality of the troops. American forces have gone down the toliet. They are so scared out there. To boost morale they give the silver star to hillbilly girls who do nothing. They run at the first contact with a resistant enemy. Is that picture your mama has with the flag in the background standard. (just like the county cop) How long before the troops get run out of Iraq? They will probably say the Iraqi's can handle it now.
