The UN has decided that we ought to shut down Guantanamo Bay and either release the prisoners or bring them to trial. We, on the other hand, advocate summary executions for individuals captured on the field of battle who hide among civilians, do not wear uniforms, and regularly violate the protocols of war.
This from a world body that has no standing armed forces, receives something like 20% of it's funding from the US, is complicit in numerous sex slave and child rape endeavors where ever it sends "peace keepers," helped steal 10 billion dollars from the starving Iraqi people while Saddam built palaces, is still in Kosovo 12 years after NATO removed another mass murderer and can't seem to finish up the trial of that same mass murderer after 3 years!
When is John Bolton going to remove the top 10 floors of that building like he promised he would?

The U.N. is right! The American forces are oppressing countries all around the world. They should fine american companies for their illegal activites in the world. The sweat shops run by them.

The Iraqis were not in any shape to develop or deploy, nor did they intend to, any weapon that might cause mass casualties. The few times Saddam did deploy such weapons the U.S. was backing Saddam against Iran.

First off we did not give the Panama Canal back. Thatlame assed Pres. Jimmy Carter did! Along with letting an American Embassy get over run and our own people held captive for over 400 days until a man with "BIG BRASS BALLS" the Honorable Ronald Reagan(God rest his soul!)came along and was going to blow these religious zelots off the face of this planet! Secondly, Guantanamo Bay Cuba is ours. We won it fair and square in the Spanish American war. As for the prison. Why should these terrorist cocksuckers recieve any rights under our constitution? They want to destroy our way of life if they can. Thirdly, FUCK THE UNITED NATIONS! Why should we allow them to be headquartered in NYC? All they are is a big drain on the budget of NYC. Everyone running around with Diplomatic Immunity and so forth. Why don't they find an uninhibated island in the carribean and move their headquarters there? Then they wouldn't have to worry about a "HOST NATION" supporting them.

The inspectors need to come to 025. Come to check-off and see. The female officers always show up changed to street clothes at 2300 hrs. Most of those 3ed watch guys all sneek out at 2301 hrs. Come on down Mr. Inspector check it out! (the females will probably hide in the locker room now)
Who cares about inspectors? They are paper tigers. Mostly no-policing mother fuckers who sell their soul for a take home car. The paper they write usually amounts to nothing, just killing trees.As a Sgt., I laugh when I see 'em come in...knowing that I'm gonna put those infraction reports straight in the round file.
Inspectors are the departments boogeymen. And until coppers stop taking an hour for a burglar alarm, sitting down on a bullshit paper job for hours, or any other dogass bullshit, the Inspectors serve a purpose.
If you're doing your job, wearing your seatbelt and vest, and not being a dogass, you have nothing to worry from an Inspector.
Newsflash! Inspectors also give goo wrightups when they see a job well done. I got a couple in my career.
Oh, one more thing, in my 20 years the biggest whiners about Inspectors are usually the biggest dogs!

You are absolutely correct in your assessment of the the Inspectors. If more sergeants chased those few malingerers around when they screw off the job of the inspector might be rendered obsolete.
Never met a bad one, well Powers came close, and I ran across a few. And Too Tall Smith gave me a compliment that he passed along to the WC, just for getting to my jobs quickly, and coding them out just as promptly-something that was rare even fifteen years ago. Ryan never wrote me up, but merely informed my desk sergeant that me and my future exempt member partner were down for about 30 minutes on a personal, because my other half just had to have the peirogi on Division St. And Pappas, who was rumored to be petty as an inspector, was responsible for my DC after the capture of an offender for the shooting of a civilian and an on-duty 025th District PO. They're a necessary evil I guess, but hardly monsters.
