You'd think with all the bad press the Administration has been getting of late, that people would be eager for another take on things. A new voice to lead America out of the wilderness that is Bush Country.
Evidently, that voice ISN'T Air America. Check out these ratings. In the Chicago AND New York stations, Rush Limbaugh (whom we have still never listened to) actually showed an increase in audience.

If the state bans Assault Weapons, can we do search warrants on homes for them? We could check city records on them?
In addition to the comments of "william golding", there's also the fact that people are complacent. They may want change, but would prefer for someone else to do it for them.
Rush Is RIGHT!!!! He's on Mon. through Fri 1100-1400 890AM. He's bombastic and over the top, but that doesn't make him wrong.

Little X, you consider Nate Clay a voice of reason? The man is an idiot, who refers to the people of the middle east as "Moo-slums". The man needs some diction lessons. This way he may be an idiot and not sound like an idiot.
I have tried to listen to "Black Radio" but found it, basically, Not funny! The host and about 2 or 3 other co-hosts, were all interrupting each other, and talking at the same time, then laughing hysterically at the same time "about nonsense", as if on que, as if the lighted "laugh sign" went on in the studio!
I think it was me though. I'm white, had the distraction "of work" going on, (because I work between 7-3), and wasn't high on illegal drugs, or hadn't consumed a 40 oz before listening to the show!
And that basically defines the demographic of the average "black radio" listener.
I'll stick to Rush and Hannity and O'Reilly for now! Maybe you leftys can try it, you might learn something!

Okay, so what is your point, here??? Tell me what part of this profile you don't fit. For someone who pretends to be educated by the use of the pseudonymn of "William Golding", and probably uses this to be condescending to the police officer on this blog, you are an idiot. I have checked facts that were given on Rush's show a number of times. I listen because he is not afraid to speak out in a factual manner. Get past his bombacity and there is nothing wrong with his message.
Let's face facts, the reason Limbaugh has the ratings he has is because he sits behind his microphone, much like the people here, and spews out the thinly veiled, racially based thoughts his base possess, but don't have the balls to express themselves. He feeds on the narrow-minded fears of people that feel that somehow they have been cheated. And he is the chosen spokesman of the very cabal that is trying to divide and destroy this country and its people. A divided people is much easier to control. He and people of him ilk, like "W", wrap themselves in whatever mantle they think will give them credence, be it religion or patriotism, and then twist and distort facts to get people to mindlessly absorb and spread their lies, dividing this country further.
But look around, things are slowly changing, even if some refuse to acknowledge the fact. More and more people are starting to wake up and ask questions. More and more people are pulling away from the leaders of the Republican Party. More and more people are escaping from the "Matrix". Who knows? Today Delay, tomorrow Bush!
