Slap the Police - Go to Jail

Looks like Capitol Hill police are getting ready to arrest Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-Georgia) for assault. Followers of the political scene may recognize her as a cross between Farrakhan, Rush and Meeks - an anti-semitic race baiting police hater. Wednesday, Cynthia AGAIN forgot her ID and just decided to walk around metal detectors and security checkpoints. She disregarded numerous calls to stop and identify herself and when an officer finally caught up with her, he got slapped for his troubles. She immediately went into attack mode and blamed all of the white officers on the Capitol Hill police force for not recognizing her.

Capitol Hill police say this is the FIFTH time in recent years Cynthia has had run ins with the police and they're finally pursuing a warrant for her arrest. This is especially justified in that not too many years ago (1998) a gun wielding individual killed two Capitol Hill officers within the Capitol itself.

Democrats defend her, proving once again that they'll back any democrat in a pinch, even one who attacks police officers:
  • "I would not make a big deal of this," said Pelosi, D-Calif.
Republicans have a different idea though:
  • Ron Bonjean, spokesman for House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., responded: "How many officers would have to be punched before it becomes a big deal?"
Bobby Rush is rumored to be sponsoring a resolution naming the street in front of the Capitol "Honorary Cynthia McKinney Way" along with a special $30 million dollar tunnel system so members of the Black Caucus don't have to ever see police officers ever again.

Hitting the Capitol Police Officer was 100% WRONG and she can not in a million years come up with a justification for her actions.

She did not fail to produce an Identification, she fail to wear an identifying LAPEL PIN
(wonder how many other Congressperson have done the same)

I will not dignify the underground tunnel nonsense with a reply

Thank God, Allah, the Creator, Buddah, Jesus, Mary and Joseph (and anyone else I've forgotten) that African Americans and especially African American females, have a TRUE role model in Congress.

All African American men, women and children should take great pride in emulating the fine U.S. Representative from Georgia whenever justly and legitimately encountered by a law enforcement officer.

Keepin' it reeeeeeaaaaalll!!!!!

Thats great "William" but none of that shit has anything to do with someone striking a police officer. Typical liberal spin.

And yet, with all those Mr. Golding so helpfully lists, it is less than a tenth of the indictments and convictions of the Clinton Administration. Figure that one out you asswipe

Oh, and no matter how hard you try to spin it, Abramoff was never a member of the Bush Administration. Neither we any other lobbyists. And Abramoff has already admitted to steering money to 40 of the 45 Democrats in the Senate. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Why don't democrats have to follow the rules?
The capitol police officer should civilly sue her! I'm sure it's on tape and he was doing his JOB!
I can only hope to be slapped by one of these democrats, then I'm calling my lawyer! Pay da MAN!

Arrogance, that's all it is, plain and simple. Even Ted Kennedy, that prick asshole from Massachusetts, would have stopped and showed his ID if the officer didn't recognize him.

She acts like some piece of shit grabbed her in an alleyway and wanted her purse, not some copper in uniform stopping her for identifying herself.

And Harry Belefonte stands with her, without knowing all the facts.

She knew she was out of line, but she's too full of herself. Members of Congress don't walk on water, but she apparently thinks she does.

I just hope the Capitol Police don't back down...lock her up, and let her go to court. I'm not saying she should go to jail, but she definately should have to face the system. You don't hit a copper, ever, even if you're in Congress...hell, especially if you're in Congress!

How about chipping people? My dog has an ID chip under his skin. Lets do people. A scan would ID them on the spot.

She has voted against resolutions honoring our troops and the 9/11 victims.
Her campaign contribution list looks like the telephone book from downtown Tehran.

From the devil's dictionary:

idiot

A member of a large and powerful tribe whose influence in human affairs has always been dominant and controlling. The Idiot's activity is not confined to any special field of thought or action, but "pervades and regulates the whole." He has the last word in everything; his decision is unappealable. He sets the fashions and opinion of taste, dictates the limitations of speech and circumscribes conduct with a dead-line.

The "race card," is so played out it is really laughable. There are 435 members of Congress and 100 senators piling through those doors daily, there is no way for those coppers to know who each and everyone of them are, the notables like like the speaker, the majority leaders etc. are known, so instead of thinking she is more important than security checkpoints she should just wear her lapel pin like everyone else and stop when asked to do so recognizing the tough job those guys at the Capitol have. She is not the worldly figure her lawyer would like to think she is, she's an elected official from a small district in Georgia period, outside of there nobody and I mean nobody knows who the hell she is. I don't even know who most of Congressmen from here are except for emmanuel, jackson jr, and Durbin, who's a Senator, other than that, beats me. Oh yeah, to Malcolm, the war in iraq has nothing to do with this so why try to tie it in?

DOG congress ho voted in by DOG constituents! Much like Marion Barry a convicted felon as mayor of DC!
A representative in our legislature should be more than legit. They SHOULD be for the people, NOT themselves.
I rest easy knowing she is probaly so stupid her district gets the least amount of perks but she gets the most. Someone look up her official record on what she has done and lets get THAT in the papers. Probably WILL get indicted by the FEDS for doing STUPID shit for pennies! dumb!!!

The best part of the hole incident is that after it happened she had a couple days to complete a written statement which would have been a great way to give words of wisdom about real racism and discrimination issues and maybe quote a real civil rights leaders teachings at the end but instead she quotes gang banger thug Tupac Shakur.

But he was. . .

The impeachment.

That's how it works. The prosecution brings the case. The jury or judges decide and the verdict is read.

It wasn't in the cards for the republicans who brought an extremely weak case - both evidentially and politically.

He was essentially exonerated. He retained office and as far as history goes, even with the impeachment he fairing much better than George W. is right now.

His poll numbers were higher and his popularity remains very strong.

The situation as it stands currently is Clinton doesn't have the power any longer. What was said that any public official that is found "on the take" needs to be prosecuted. You miss the point. It is not "us vs. them". The people in power love to divide the population that way. And when the citizens are thoroughly confused they the powerbrokers start to think they can get away with just about anything.

It's not about a political party. It's about an elite power structure that is stealing our youth, stealing our money and stealing our future. What's left of the middle class has nowhere to go so what do they do? They try to protect what they have left.

Say no to immigration and all those who use social services but don't contribute. But business won't let that happen. Your man Bush is going to let business decide how to deal with immigration just like he did for energy and prescription drug and other programs that feed corporate bottom-line.

It's not about you and I and what we think of programs. It’s about what is owed to the special interests. I can tell you that although I sure you are cherished by your loved ones this government and the Clinton government and the government before that and before that did not think you were special.
