No WMD's, eh?

Aside from the fact that the Left continues to spread the lie that the Duelfer report conclusively proved there were no WMD's in Iraq (it didn't - it proved exactly the opposite - go read it), now comes word that as late as the year 2000, Iraq was producing and testing Nerve Gas Detectors. Via Powerline and Captains Quarters:
  • Joseph Shahda has translated another Iraqi intelligence document, which appears to indicate that Iraq procured equipment to detect nerve gas in or about December 2000. This equipment is described as "prohibited"
Firstly, this equipment was banned under UN resolution, so Iraq was in material breach of it's obligations - a trigger for war. Second of all, why would Iraq have these detectors unless they were prepared to use nerve weapons in the event of a land war and needed to detect blowback? Third, how does anyone think they tested this stuff? You don't just build it hoping it works in the field - you test it. That means having live agent around - another breach and another trigger for war. And the "Bush lied" myth again fades into the mists of Leftist rhetoric.

The Omnipotent (But Far From Omniscient) Executive
Endgame for the Constitution

The fall in confidence in the dollar is evidenced by the sharp run-up in the price of gold. In January 2001 the price of gold was about $240 per ounce. Today the price is $660 per ounce.

The price of gasoline has risen from around $1.30 per gallon to over $3.00 per gallon. Obviously, Bush's war in the Middle East did not ensure the oil supply.

On Bush's watch, three million US manufacturing jobs have disappeared. Tens of thousands of highly qualified US engineers have lost their employment. US job growth has fallen six to seven million jobs behind population growth. Recent college graduates are employed as waitresses and bartenders.

Illegal immigration has continued to explode. While Bush spends $1 trillion and many lives trying to control borders in the MIddle East, America's borders remain undefended and over run. Bush advocates amnesty for the illegals who have invaded America while Bush invades distant countries.

Most US young people can't find Iraq on map: study

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Most American young people can't find Iraq on a map, even though U.S. troops have been there for more than three years, according to a new geographic literacy study released on Tuesday.

Fewer than 4 in 10 Americans aged 18-24 in a survey could place Iraq on an unlabeled map of the Middle East, a study conducted for National Geographic found. Only about one-quarter of respondents could find Iran and Israel on the same map.

The liberal media keeps reporting that there were no WMD's found which confuses the public into believing that Iraq never had them. The truth is that they did have them and used WMD's, killing thousands. I have never once seen a report by the liberal media saying that Iraq did have them. In Oct. 1998 Iraq kicked the inspectors out of the country and when Saddam realized that Bush was going to be elected he moved them to a bordering country.Saddam had plenty of time to move his WMD's before Bush took any action against Iraq. Geez, you could move a football field full of the gas in no time at all. The main reason that muslims hate us so much is because the United States supports Israel. The Muslims and the Jews have been fighting since day one and it will never stop. The only possible solution is to have the UN totally committed to having a peaceful solution in the middle east. Since the UN is a disgrace and useless it will never happen, making the future of peace in that area almost impossible.

Until the U S comes up with one vial, one container, one of anything to prove the possession of WMD's, everything is speculation or the least wishful thinking. The present administration NOW shy away from their previous factual reports of such weaponry, WHY? if you can't show it on FOXNEWS it don't exsist. I can't see any country that is as disorganize as IRAQ being able to hide or get rid of every PHYSICAL shred of evidence, America has interogated, bribed, threaten anyone that they thought that might have any knowledge of WMDS and what have we gotten for BILLIONS of dollars spended, thousands dead, thousands wounded
Nada, nothing, nil only entrenched NeoCons still ranting and raving

How 'bout some DNA from the thousands of dead Iraq's that were killed by Saddam with the gas. Since DNA is the big proven factor being used now, along with the recently found gas detectors should answer the question of WMD's.
