Another Liberal Talking Point Dies

Leftist talking point - "Saddam had no connections to terrorists. Saddam was a secularist; fundemental islamists wouldn't have anything to do with him."

Wrong again. From Fox News:
  • A newly released document appears to provide evidence that in 1999 the Taliban welcomed "Islamic relations with Iraq" to mediate among the Taliban, the Northern Alliance and Russia, and that the Taliban invited Iraqi officials to Afghanistan.
Oops. But then, being a Liberal means never having to say you're sorry. Or mistaken. Or just flat out wrong. Thank goodness the alternative media is getting the word out.

As a longtime viewer of this blog I am happy to report that Saddam Hussein was a mass murderer who used weapons of mass destruction on minorities within his country.

And I am first.

Gonna delete me SCC?

TO ALL HIPPIES:
Some liberal ideology-War is bad. Say no to war. Make love not war. As with almost every other relavent issue facing our country (or city for that matter), it's easier to spout quick, cheap, thoughtless sayings without taking into account reality. Someone died for your freedom to be a brainless liberal, and good men and women are dying still to stop future 9/11's, keep a nuke out of San Fransisco, and ensure your brainwashed kids can grow up in a society that lets their dumb assess complain about whine about the system that protects them. Stop bashing Bush without offering a real plan to keep your hippy assess free. Hippies.

Hey Lefty- When you're done reading off the back of your Fahrenheit 9/11 DVD, look up the definition of alternative. Even if you think the majority of news media outlets are fair, FOX would qualify as alternative (although in your mind an alternative leaning to the right). As I'm sure you know, your kind no longer has the market cornered...there are "alternatives" like FOX, the Wall Street Journal etc. While the truth is becoming more popular with the help of site's like this and other alternatives, you guys still have bit of a majority...making FOX News an ALTERNATIVE. Hippie.

This time,"leftisthebest"is correct. No one said Saddam didn't have contact with fundamentalists,he just had no verifiable ties with the people who were responsible for Sept 11th. Hell, what middle eastern countries DONT have fundamentalist ties or factions within there borders? Our good allies Saudi Arabia,Egypt, and Pakistan are all good examples. This administration still has not given a good reason for the invasion/occupation of Iraq. And for 1:29:46, the only one who sounds"brainwashed" is you.In Afghanistan, the President made his case for military action. When it comes to Iraq,he's just blowing smoke up our collective a**es.

I believe when you see another Hitler in the making, i.e. Saddam
any excuse is a good excuse to bring him down. We cannot allow
history to repeat itself.

"No one ever said Saddam had no connection with terrorists."

REPRESENTATIVE John Murtha, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, appeared on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, March 19, to evaluate the war in Iraq on its third anniversary. Murtha, a decorated veteran and longtime hawk, has become a leading spokesman for his party on the war. And on the show, he spoke of what "probably worries me the most" about the U.S. effort in Iraq. The war, said Murtha, is a diversion from the global war on terror.

"There was no terrorism in Iraq before we went there," said Murtha. "None. There was no connection with al Qaeda, there was no connection with, with terrorism in Iraq itself." This is now the conventional wisdom on Iraq and terrorism. It is wrong.

Um, Lefty, your order of crow has been prepared by your hero Chef Murtha, delivered to you by 228. Will you be accepting it now, or do you wish to finish the shoe in your mouth first?

If they tried car bombings when Saddam was in power he would have had them executed.

Here we go again lambasting liberals. Let me tell you something good about liberals. Liberals gave non-land owning white males the right to vote in the USA;liberals ensured that we have a Bill of Rights; radical liberals fought for the abolition of slavery; liberals fought for the rights of minorities to have the right to vote;liberals ensured that the G. I. bill of rights passed. So whenever someone opposes liberalism just think how much you've been helped by it!!!

With regard to the Area 2 Gun Team,
don't be hating on them! They are very good at what they do, and they LEAD THE CITY in gun seizures this year by a WIDE MARGIN. I don't care how much they kiss or squeeze each other's butts as long as they keep on getting those guns off the streets!
