Da Season Begins!
And everyone knows what it means when the Bears start playing, right?
The Blackhawks are right around the corner! Hope springs eternal for the lonely Blackhawk fan (that'd be us). Preseason starts 19 September and unfortunately, plenty of tickets are still available. Maybe this year, everyone else can play down to the Blackhawk's level and make it interesting. In any case, we still despise Bill Wirtz and pray for the day home games reappear on free TV to generate some interest in the team.

I heard that the Chicago Bears have attempted to hire the Organized Crime Division Prostitution Unit. The Bears claimed that with such sticky fingers, they'll catch every football thrown to them. The only thing is we'll have to hide the ticket sale money from them, we would like to keep that for the Bears Organization.

I'm not a Bears or Blackhawks fan, but I am so ready for both football and hockey season to start (more so with hockey!).

Bears will be 11-5 and win the division. Expect them to get to the second round of the playoffs. Superbowl contenders, not yet.
Sorry SCC, but the Blackhawks will continue to be terrible. (No change as long as old man Wirtz is in charge.) It is a shame. Chicago used to be a great hockey town.

IF the offense can CONSISTANTLY perform at this level,and the defense plays as well as last year,Da'Bears have as good a chance at a Super Bowl run as any other team in the leauge.(but that's a big IF.)As far as the Blackhawks are concerned,FORGET IT! Until someone other than Wirtz owns the team,it'll be another sorry season.(They even make the Cubs look good.)
