Finish the Job Already

Remember a few years back, a fine upstanding citizen named Mario Billings was shot by a home owner in Wilmette after Billings was returning to burglarize the home for a second time after stealing a large amount of property and the family car? The shooting triggered a massive outpouring of support for the homeowner who was facing numerous charges related to his owning a handgun in a suburb that had outlawed such weapons. No doubt that Billings was as surprised as anyone when he was shot in what was supposed to be a gun free city.

Well, Billings was arrested again in Wilmette for, what else? Burglarizing a home in the same neighborhood.
  • A man who was shot while burglarizing a north suburban Wilmette home almost 3 year ago is in trouble with the law again. 34-year old Mario Billings was arrested Tuesday. Police say he robbed another home in the same neighborhood.
  • Billings is accused of breaking into a home in the 800 block of Michigan Avenue while the family was sleeping.
First of all, we'd love to see the crime stats for this neighborhood. If there have been a few break-ins when Billings was out of the joint, we'll bet they have a possible culprit right there. Secondly, maybe Wilmette ought to think about arming it's citizens and finishing the job on Billings. He's headed for a bad end anyway.

I pray to God that the next time I go and visit my parents that shithead pulls the same trick. Then will the job be done.

Didn't some politician want to regester burglars just like sex offenders?

Sounds like an idea whose time has come.

It is time to for as many of us as possible to join and participate in the NRA and its legislative programs.

To many cops, even Chicago cops have sold out to the other side and get their mugs in the media promoting the anti gun agenda.

It is time for us to put a face on, a Law Enforcemnt face, on the individual right to keep and bear arms.

I bought my first gun in the city of Chicago. I would like to buy my last one in the city of Chicago.

The Cook County States Attorney is only intrested in the headline grabbing prosecution of policemen, not keeping us safe in our homes from Mario Billings. Hey Mario, when you get your bond try stopping up in Edison Park on your way back home. It's not exactly the Northshore but you'll find two to three willing executioners on every block! And I gaurantee your next port of call will be the ME!

Hale DeMars should have spent more time at the range. A nice head shot would have precluded the Wilmette reappearance of Mario Billings.

its time we hire a vigilante. Deadpool, Bullseye and V arent available. Ninjamonkey comes at a high price but well worth it. Think about it and give him, or her, well give it a call.

Remember that feel good story in the burbs where there was a wrongful death suit because a bar owner had rigged up his own "alarm" system. When the clown broke in, a 50,000 volt surprise greeted him, and voila, one less ssi recipient. Me thinks these two should be in the running for Life's "Man of the Year."

That was out in Aurora. The Kane County State's Atty attempted to indict the bar owner, but the grand jury refused to go along. The family sued the bar owner, but, it was settled for peanuts. The P.I. lawyer probably got it all.

Wow,that gun control really works. Its amazing that gun control advocates still push their evil agenda.
States/cities that have stringent gun control also have the highest violent crime rates.Chi-town,D.C,NYC,LA,Detroit....see the pattern.
It took over a decade to pass H.R. 218 WTF??
Billings is a criminal predator and he knows how weak the sysytem is.Shoot to stop....then to kill.

The Area 2 Gun Team is at it again.

They just sandbagged a CFD firefighter in 025 for Daley's bullshit "failure to register" his personal collection. The Area 2 deputy chief tried to justify their crap by remarking that "IF (the weapons) fell into the wrong hands..."

Cheapshot bullies! Quit fucking with decent citizens and pinch some Part I felons, jagoffs!

Hey guys, Im coming to Chicago to join the CPD in a couple weeks. I just got off active duty in the Army, but Im still in the reserves. Im wondering, what are the laws in Chicago regarding gun ownership? I have a 9mm pistol and .45 carbine, both legally purchased in Georgia, and federally registered. What do I have to do to make these guns legal in Chicago? Are there exceptions for police and military? Ive tried inquiring through the proper channels, but the beauracracy has failed me, amazingly. Any info you guys can give is much appreciated.

I remember the guy in Miami that did that. He was prosecuted and sued. If I am not mistaken, he beat the cases.

A Police Department is like a tree full of monkeys, All on different limbs at different levels. Some monkeys are climbing up, some down. The monkeys on top look down and see a tree full of smiling faces. The monkeys on the bottom look up and see nothing but assholes.

Talk about bullshit gun pinches, do you know the real reason why they send BB guns to the Crime Lab?

They may say they want to see if they were or could be converted to firearms. If you think that is not being done, look into it.

The real reason, if they are sent to the Crime Lab, they are counted as firearms. That is great for stats at DOC and CAPS meetings.

Figures don't lie, but liars figure.

Maybe the people on the parole boards should be held at least civilly responsible, when these miscreants are released and get caught committing crimes. In extreme cases, criminal charges should be filed. maybe then they will serve their sentences as given.
