Who's Got the Yellow Tape?

The jewel of the revitalization of downtown. Millennium Park. Cost overruns be damned and a parking lot that LOSES money in the heart of downtown. Now a crime scene:
  • An intoxicated catering company employee found dead early Sunday in Millennium Park died from asphyxia after choking on a coin, authorities said Monday.

The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled the death a homicide, but police said they are not yet classifying the death as such, and are continuing to investigate the odd circumstances surrounding the incident.
Channel 2, Channel 7 and the Tribune coverage here. Any detectives have any insight into where this one is going?

A coin, my main suspect would be McGuyver. Was he in town, does he have an alibi? Was the victim a former television exec who was responsible for the show's cancellation? The people want answers. Rev Meeks and Jackson will call a news conference about the Police cover up tonight @ 1900hrs

Just because the Med examiner rules it a homicide doesn't mean we will, he ruled all the people killed in the fire at the county building homicides, the city didn't. the Med examiner is a toll anyway.....

Maybe he was the modern-day version of the old T.V. "Quarter Meter Bank". " Call Mowhawk 4-4100,
C.E.T. for Telemundo!"

This just in. The rich dudes who paid ofr that park gotta hold of da mayor.

Tommorow a new law will go into effect. Coins will be banned in Chicago and all people who still have coins will have to register each and every one of them.

It is common sense coin control. Joe Moore and Burt Natarus will intorduce da mayor's ordinance.

Did anyone stop to consider that this poor soul might have been a Roman. It was their religious belief that you put a coin in the deceased mouth to pay the "Ferryman" to get you across the river Styx.

Hey!!!!, It's possibe!
