- Police have two people in custody Tuesday morning for what the Cook County Medical Examiner's office is calling the first homicide of 2007.
The shooting occurred when a gunman left one party and opened fire with a shotgun at another party, leaving three men injured, one fatally, on the West Side early Monday.
Two men, ages 30 and 27, were in custody Tuesday morning but no charges had been filed as of 11:30 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Marcel Bright said.
And everyone knows the ME wouldn't get caught on the wrong side of a controversy, right?

You are at home with your family and a few friends having a party. Several shit bags are thrown out of a party at your neighbors house.
These same shit bags walk over to your house and try to enter your house and party. You deny them entry. One of the shit bags pulls a handgun, you retrieve your legally registered shot gun and confront the shit bag pointing the handgun. The shit bag does not back down. You are now in fear of your life and the life of you family. You put this piece of shit down.
Homicide? YES... Murder? NO...

It sounds like clear self-defense to me. Im proud of that guy for defending himself there on Ohio! If his shotgun was registered, there shouldnt ANY charges.
What should outrage you guys is that your mayor wants to push his gun ban statewide. Weve had a city-county ban on assault guns for years and thats not stopping these animals from getting them.
Now when you retire, and move to rural Illinois, your still under the thumb of Daley... THAT SUCKS!!!
