Family Secrets Trial
Lots of nervous people over at the "Legitimate Businessmen's Social Club."
- A federal judge in Chicago unsealed the prosecution's plans Thursday in the upcoming trial known as Operation Family Secrets. It reads like a crime syndicate novel, but government lawyers contend their plan for the prosecution of Chicago's top mobsters is strictly non-fiction. The day outfit boss Jimmy "The Man" Marcello got home from prison, Marcello had no idea that he had left something very important behind at the Milan, Michigan, penitentiary: his words, secretly recorded in jailhouse visits.
Government documents unsealed Thursday paint a vivid picture of how Marcello's alleged grip on illegal video gambling in suburban Chicago is just the latest chapter in the rich heritage of Chicago mob rackets.
All part of a fun summer planned by various federal entities.

Family secrets is it about daley? Degnan? Stroger? Blago? if not then who cares! get the real crooks at the top!!
Who gives a fuck!!!!!!!! Leave these old guys alone already.
Joe, how's it going? How's retirement? I hope all is well. BTW, who is Chris Cardi?
Chris Cardi and Cline? wow, moron boy is really reaching in his hatred of Cline. Next it will be cline and John Wilkes Booth were pals. Grow up little man. You didn't get made because you would have been a piss poor boss just like you were a piss poor p/o.
The interest in this case will be reserved for those of us who were around in the 60's. We'll be curious to see how names of retired or dead exempts will surface. Believe me boys and girls the bed back then had lots of bosses sleeping in it. If you think Hanhardt was the only one get ready for some big suprises.
PS: the Marlin are running today. Sunny and 86 is the prediction. Save your money kids. There is life after the job. But, I still miss it. Stay Safe!!!
Old Joe living well off his stolen goods....
Chris Cardi was a mob associate back in the late 60's early 70's. Wanting to be a good earner and get himself "made" he went into the heroin business to make and kick alot of money back to the bosses. Well, Chris gets busted and the mob is pissed that he violated Acardo's order and dealt drugs. The mob believe it or not, gets to the judge, to give Cardi the longest sentence possible. Cardi does his time and within a couple of day's of getting out of the joint he get's wacked right in front of his wife and kids by a couple of mob shooters. This was Acardo's way of making an example of Cardi to wise guys and associates who dealt drugs. It was a warning, deal drugs and end up like Cardi!
Popular rumor has it that the Cardi Narcotic case was given to a mob connected CPD narcotics officer by the outfit.
Years later the same mob connected narcotics officer now a Sergeant was popped by the G along with two P.O.s for taking money from dope dealers Green Smith, Milton Kelly and C.W. Wilson. The three rats set up and made the Marquette ten case for the G in return for their own asses. The three rats went on to have very successful careers in their own right and until today live a very comfortable life.
Is this about emil jones family and jobs he gives away for the huge payoffs?
