Jesse Speaks
- Reverend Jesse Jackson visited a wounded teenage girl in the hospital. She and her best friend were shot while walking on the South Side.
- ....Jackson said more needs to be done to limit the number of guns on the streets.
"People deserve the right to live, to walk the streets, to sit on their porches. And that cannot happen," said Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rainbow Push Coalition.
Nationwide, gun ownership is at an all time high. Some form of concealed carry exists in 40 of 50 states. And the homicide rate? Lower than average, especially so in states with concealed carry laws where the rate always seems to drop after approval of concealed carry.
Perhaps the answer is more guns.
Perhaps the answer is more guns.

Hey Real Police,
If you guys are really tired of the usual ghetto drama, Chicago Police Department Insanity, and have a huge amount of athletic ability, personal courage, and firearms proficiency, read on!
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is in the midst of a serious recruitment drive for Special Agent 1811 Series Criminal Investigator applicants with prior SWAT type experience.
The FBI is seeking to beef up the Hostage Rescue Team (HRT). If you have an undergrad degree and can pass a polygraph examination regarding national security issues, integrity, and illicit drug use, you should look into it. They will even accept a Lewis University degree! The maximum entry age is 37, at the time of your appointment as a Special Agent.
Experience as a CPD Detective, SWAT Team member, NAGIS investigator, TRU officer (Hair Gel Police), Police Agent in IAD, is a definite plus and would give you an edge in the FBI Special Agent recruitment process. On average only 3% of Special Agents trying out for HRT can make the cut and become operators. Once hired, you will have to relocate to an office outside of Chicago. The FBI Academy is very tough physically and academically! The environment is very competitive and no cheaters or slackers are tolerated. It is the Princeton of all law enforcement academies in the USA.
Clout doesn't work during the FBI/HRT selection process, there are no affirmative action entries, diversity quotas or race norming during the trials to become an HRT operator, and being a white male with a Northern European, Irish, Italian, or Slavic surname is not an automatic path to entry. If you don’t complete an evolution during the selection course or during operator training there are no alibis given or mulligans allowed. So, if you don't make it, please don't prevaricate. Don't return to the CPD and tell a lie saying you didn't make the cut for the HRT or pass the FBI Special Agent basic course because of affirmative action or racism. Please don’t say that the feebs are dweebs and just don’t get it. That would be very bad theater!
You have to earn your spot on HRT and work hard to keep it! It is the kind of assignment that you have to love even when it sucks!
If you have the right stuff, check out the FBI webpage for additional information. If you make it, welcome to the very wonderful world of America’s finest, its 1811 Federal Criminal Investigator community!
Stay safe guys and gals!!!!!!!!!!!

Can we ban this person from anymore comments? I have never met this person, but really, copuld one person be in love with themself anymore?
We are all happy you left the "deuce" - and we are even more happy you are at some "undisclosed, secure, feeb building" doing your thing.
Now go do it - and post on "I'd rather have my sister in a whore house then my brother in the FBI.com" instead of here.
Its always someone, police or somethings fault, a gun. Never the idiots carrying and using weapons, wether they are rocks or guns. YOUR PEOPLE NEED TO CHILL OUT!
Jesse's biography "SHAKEDOWN" is available at Amazon.com and also at Borders.
It lays out the history of this lying, thieving, alledged rev. quite well.
Minor correction: Some form of Conceal Carry exists in 48 of 50 states. 38 of the 48 have "shall issue" meaning it is not just given to Sly Stallone and other "elites."
Two states have no issue needed. Alaska and Vermont have no gun laws at all.
Two states have no issue at all. Illinois and Wisconsin.
It is funny that the Brady Campaign gives Vermont and "F" rating and Illinois an "A-" rating based upon their gun laws. Yet if you were to compare VT gun violence to IL gun violence you'd probably reverse those ratings.

Folks may not like what he is saying, but for those who are willing to listen to the words...those words may bring the annunciation of the truth.
Maybe Hymietown will beef about Snoop Dog and the dogs that condone shooting the Police during the the lakefront concert, I dought it, bangers are far more important to the Democratic party in votes and money than anything else.
Hey nitwit "Former beat222 driver now working 1811 Federal investigator" can't you find another website to spew your idiotic babblings on...don't you "Fed boys" have your own website..or do you just come here to throw your name around ? Question...since you like to talk about yourself...and I know you will not asnwer honestly...but...here goes..how many years do you have on CPD before you left?? and what is your pay rate? Not asking how much you make just your government pay rate as in g or e and then the numeric code...(Ie: G4 or E5 etc...) and why did you leave? just curious...

Beat off to the G and all that best in the world bullshit somewhere else. If you worked in 002 back when all the buildings were up. Thats where you could have found some of the best. Should have made one of your "evolutions" become a real tact man there then come on this site and blow yourself. Cant wait to sign up for the FBI where being former IAD is a definite plus. LMAO
Is the girl who survived the shooting really another illegitimate child ?
Ever notice whenever you see Baby Daddy revJackson at a march, rally, whatever, he ALWAYS has bodyguards with his cowardly ass.
It is really a stretch to figure that they are armed?
Same old liberal BS, do as I say, not as i do.
Jesse also said we need more gun laws. We dont need more gun laws we just need to enforce the gun laws we allredy have with the suport of the community and the courts.
Typical of Jesse to talk out both sides of his mouth and once again prove to the world how ignorant he really is.
We need more gun laws, buts we donts wants the POOLICE to bother and harass our poor black dopes dealing, gangbanging youts.
You can't have ot both ways Jesse you moron.

I am sure Joe Airhart was so impressed with the FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) that he almost died with envy.
That incident will go down in the law enforcement hall of SHAME as one of biggest fuck ups of all time.
The FBI's pussy ass response was only matched by our Exempts' refusal to give the order to go in and do the right thing...which would have included locking up any big tough FBI agent that tried to get in the way.
I didn't think it needed to be said but: Never, ever leave a wounded fellow officer to bleed to death while the FBI figures out a way to cover up their incompetence.
Now go do it - and post on "I'd rather have my sister in a whore house then my brother in the FBI.com" instead of here.

Ouch little guy. Boy you must really be sore at me. I am so sorry I hurt your feelings. You want a candy bar?
I was only trying to show some of the guys and gals on the job that if they are tired of what is going on in the CPD, there are alternatives, which may offer more rewards and professional satisfaction.
I have nothing but the utmost respect for the working guys and gals on the CPD. It is indeed at times a needlessly rough and stressful job if you are not politically connected. Please don't take my comments out of context.
As far as your personal preferences regarding your sister that should really remain a private thought. Maybe you should see a employee assistance plan counselor on that. Who knows, you might come up with other distatseful ideas if you don't address those thoughts of yours about your sister and brother with a mental health clinician.
Giving fellow law enforcement professionals information regarding other career opportunities should not be regarded as a crime or worse a lame form of ego expression.
Take care little guy. Stay safe, and pass the info I gave you to your brother and sister.

You said,
The FBI academy is the Princeton of all law enforcement academies in the USA.
Is this a fucking joke?
I worked with several so called FBI
investgators or agents whatever you chose to call them, during the Lefkow case.
All very nice and inteligent poeple
but did not now the first thing about police work and/or talkin to or interviewing possible suspects.
Left the area and drove out to a subjects house in the far western suburbs. arrived at the house and the first thing this so called FBI expert said is, should we call the local police for assistance?
Well mister G MAN we are olny hear to make contact and do an interview. The real purpose of out visit was to determine if the subject still resided at this location and and make contact with him. We were not there to start world war 3.
Did I fail to mention that the FBI already knew who they were looking for at this time and it was not our subject.
I worked with five differant agents that week and with the exception of one of them I was not impressed.
By the time we returned to the area to submitt our worthless report, the offender was dead in Wisconsin or Michigan as he chose suicide by Police.
No thanks this Detective and former HBT guy will stay right where he is doing the job I love for this shit hole City.
Hey anybody knows what happened to 006 District Sgt. John Herman?

You were sounding good until the end. Then it becomes obvious you weren't too close to the real investigation. Maybe you were the coffee and dougnuts detective? There was no suicide by police the guy shot himself. And it was in Wisconsin. And you call the feds stupid and incompetent?
"Former 222 beat guy, now a working fed"
WOW, I'd love to meet ya , I've never met a working Fed.
Jackson should try limiting the amount of his so-called "following" who go out on a nightly basis and commit gun related felonies. As usual, he blames something other than the real source of the problem.
MAYOR'S LAND GRAB TO PROVIDE WHOLESOME FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT
CHICAGO Chicago’s Northerly Island has become a hot venue for big name entertainment. CBS 2’s Joanie Lum reports it’s also become a target for boaters and their families who don’t like to hear R-rated lyrics blasted along the lakefront.
Some 300 boaters, motorists and pedestrians in and around Burnham Harbor leaned on horns and sounded off in protest against the volume and the obscenity-laced lyrics of a Snoop Dogg concert at Northerly Island Sunday evening.
Burnham Harbor is right behind the Charter One Pavilion Stage where boaters asay they and their children could hear every word through the powerful speaker system.
“It was the constant vulgarities, obscenities, calls for snub nose revolvers to shoot police,” said Tom Collins, a Niles resident.
"All he seemed to do is scream: ‘what’s my “mf-in” name’ and he didn’t use letters,” said Bruce Shake.
"It was actually really horrible, it was all constantly swearing,” said Shake’s 11-year-old daughter Ashley.
Last week the Wu Tang concert was caught on camera and posted on YouTube. A boater from Burnham Harbor complained to a police officer about the profanity.
"He said a permit is issued to Charter One and there was nothing they could do,” said boater Frank Roccasalva.
Boaters have written to city officials and others, complaining about the noise.
“It was being heard on Museum Campus, 12th Street Beach,” Collins said. “Families were leaving in droves, they couldn’t take it anymore.”
The boating season is ending and the group of concerned boaters doesn’t expect trouble from the next scheduled performer, which is Stevie Wonder. But they say they’ll continue to battle profanity on behalf of all the public.
The Chicago Park District owns the concert facility. It did not return calls for comment Monday. The concerts are booked through a company called Live Nation.
Park District spokeswoman Jessica Maxey-Faulkner says the district doesn't endorse vulgar lyrics. She says the First Amendment gives the only boundaries for what performers can sing about.
The FBI is full of agents who are afraid to make arrests. period.
WHERES THE OUTRAGE, THIS IS DAY TWO OF THIS STORY..WHERE DEM REVERENDS BE?
A Chicago man who was chased down by a police officer riding a Segway scooter has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred before his capture, authorities said Monday.
Robert Waller, 18, of the 2000 block of South Clark Street was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, a felony, and two misdemeanors: possession of a weapon without a firearm owners' identification card and failure to register a firearm.
Waller was arrested by Officer Thaddeus Martyka, who was writing parking citations on his motorized scooter in the 2100 block of South Michigan Avenue when he heard gunfire and saw two men sprinting west on 21st Street.
Martyka nabbed Waller about 4:30 p.m. Sunday after chasing the suspect for about three blocks on a department-issue Segway.
The shooting victim later refused to press charges, police said. He was wounded in the lower back during a dispute and treated at Mercy Hospital. Police ended their search for the second man after the victim declined to prosecute.

Not asking how much you make just your government pay rate as in g or e and then the numeric code...(Ie: G4 or E5 etc...) and why did you leave? just curious...
Fellow law enforcement professional, I left the deuce when the buildings were still up after 5 years on the job. That time also included time in Gangs South under Captain Frank Radke and the deuce under Captain Bingham when Eddie King was the commander. I am a GS-13 Step 8. Look up the federal law enforcement tables and add in 25% LEAP Pay and you will get my salary.
If guys and gals are as tired of the CPD as they profess on this site I am only offering an alternative where perhaps they may gain more personal and professional satisfaction. If not continue being the real police and keeping Chicago safe. If Chicago is safe the rest of Northern Illinois will be safe. When I worked in the Deuce and in Gangs South I worked with coppers who were sharp and encouraged me to go FED. The guys who encouraged me to leave the job were folks like Gang Crimes Specialist Paco Welindez of Gang South and Sargeant Pat Garrity of the Deuce who at that time was studying to become an attorney. I also met several other guys who were leaving the job and going FED for the same reasons.
I left CPD because I wanted to conduct long term investigations of complex criminal conspiracies. I could not do that being in a beat car or being a tactical guy in Gang South. I did not have the juice to become a Gangs Specialist like Paco and his partner Norice. Another reason I left was because I didn't like the residency rules. I was also attracted to the FED salary structure. Additionally as a FED you don't work under close supervision and you are judged on quality investigations that have to pass the muster of being accepted by the US Attorney's Office.
FED land is by no means perfect but there are no residency rules, the pay is great, and the opportunities are limitless and not nearly as restricted by clout, who you drink with, race norming, affirmative action etc. Helping the poor black community? Since returning from New York I have lived in Naperville and I haven't met anybody poor yet. I tend to help out in my own very diverse community, thank you.
What happened to Detective Joe Airhart was very regretable and unfortunate. I also happen to know from personal experiences that CPD has had folks who made incredibly unwise decisions also, so let’s not go there.
In closing, with much respect to working coppers I salute you. If you are looking for additional opportunities and a more level playing field, take a look at the FBI or even the Food and Drug Administration which also has a criminal investigative arm.

I hope that poor girl that was shot hid her purse when Jesse visited. You know he would steal it.
1811,look me up...i receive two weekly newspapers. i am more on the cranial side of the house, but i will buy the first round.
If you have time on cpd in a working dist i dont think there is anything wrong with leaving the dept. You can bring your street experience with you to the feds. At least you have time on the street locking people up. Thats alot more then some feds have just coming from college. besides nothing wrong with keeping your options open. former bt.222 you make sense. at least you dont have the daley corruption everywhere.

it aint the guns that are the problem.......

Dear Mr. Ex-222 and Current Fed---
Yes, Chicago Police Officials made horrible decisions once they got on the scene. However, your compadres were on the scene when it started and your compadres ran like little bitches once the gunfire started and left a fellow officer to virtually die on the floor. They ran to save their own asses. COWARDS.

Isn't that the fucking truth!!
As all for the two's......since u worked the jets for five years as the real hard ass kicking police (i assume) had no clout and made a move good for you. However dont come on this blog and feed us the "very wonderful world of America’s finest" bullshit. Nobody cares about hearing your cries about you not having a phone call and how you had to join the shitty G to get a spot. We are all big boys and girls and if we want to go fed we all kno w how to get there. Which reminds me if i ever test i will make sure to take every test but the FBI. Rather sleep on mids until i can bid to days than work for the FBI you can keep it.
Thirty years on this job and one thing I love about the police....They can mother fuck each other and call all kinds of names but let one federal agent come between them and the agent gets GANGSTERED!! And thats the way it should be. Coppers some times remind me of Marines.
Guys/Gals in blue,
It is a pleasure communicating with you. For the guys/gals who are interested in pursing other career options, I hope I have been helpful with the information I provided. The recruiters at the DEA, FBI, ATF, FDA Office of Investigations, the IRS Criminal Investigation Division, the US Department of Agriculture Office of Inspector General, and the US Department of Justice Inspector General are all recruiting top notch applicants. Each agency has a website that provides additional details.
For the folks who think that I have been merely rude and boastful please accept my sincere apologies, because that was not my intention.
With respect to the folks who chose to demean this site by attacking, insulting, and spitting venom, I really feel sorry for them. Folks like that kind of remind me of Father Mike Phleger, Rev. Jesse Jackson, and thier constituents who don't listen to evidence or logic, and do not have the ability to engage in reasonable adult discourse.
Other than the remarks about the unfortunate situation regarding Detective Airhart, the other replies could not give a good reason for a law enforcement professional to not consider going to a federal agency.
It is 5 PM and I am going to enjoy a white chocolate mocha at Starbucks on Clark and Adams before I commute to my cottage in Naperville USA. Take care and be safe.

Stop embarrassing people who worked in the duece by riding that card. Save your stories for the FBI, your cottage, and Naperville Mr. Allknowing G man. Im sure you can find some civilian to impress. Here your just another hand job FBI agent filling the loser bracket. Far from your self titled "wonderful world of America’s finest"

Well you sure enough seem to have fuffled some feathers here with the C.P,D.ers. I first went to the 002nd dist when it was at 48th and Wabash and retired from it at 51st and Wentworth 34yrs later. Moved around it a little in Task Force and PHS but it was always my home. You showed one major flaw son when you talked about Ghetto Drama and CPD insanity. The job was bothering you before you left. What is your idea of being a committed P.O.? You aint the first one who couldn t make a move because of lack of clout. You see at one time you were a part of the finest force of crime fighters ever collected in the history of law enforcement , yet the Ghetto was never in your capacity as a police officer. Futher evidenced with your comments on affirmative action and political activists in Chgo you let those things deter you rather than staying focused on your service. You chose a better envirement for sure and there s nothing wrong with that. I m glad you enjoy your money and Naperville. But in your heart of hearts you ll always know you never had the stamina to face the difficult challenges of being a Bt cop yr in yr out and out of season in Chgo. Good luck in your carrer.
Hey JESSE....
why dont you do something that might do some good. Protest the gangs. Have them give up their weapons and corners. Get them J.O.B.'S at PUSH?
That might be a start.

Hey guy/gal I salute you for your integrity, service, and courage. Everyone has his own path to enlightment and personal achievement. You took yours and I took mine. I have a TF patch that was given to me by a retired copper who was part of the Task Force. I will always cherish that patch as it reminds me of my commitment to protect US citizens from crime. Stamina? I didn't have the stamina to work for a lower salary and endure institutional nonsense and a lack of professional satisfaction. I have no regrets about leaving, other than not being able to convince several fellow blue coats to seek careeers with the G.
Take care and enjoy your retirement. GOD Bless. Semper FI
Former 222 Working FED
It is nice to have an FBI agent assigned to the Chicago office that has some understanding of what being a Chicago cop means and is all about. Very few cops can truly relate to what goes on in this city's streets and behind closed doors.
Well Fed
Well bro you sure softened things in your response to me. I appreciate what you said. I didn t mention Eddie King but he was a great boss we were cops together in 007 in the early 70 s and I went to work for him in 002. I guess my experience with the Feds after the Demo convention kept me negative for yrs later. There were three guys indicted from A1 TF and I knew them well. I also knew they were innocent and were scapecoats as the world cried for heads as a result of the "police riot". This was well before your time and I sure hope things have changed. But those Feds were as wrong as wrong could be and I saw the financial and emotional effect that it had on them . Especially Vince Dominco who never recovered emotionally. But one thing your time with us gave you. You see in the arena of curb to curb police work , from gun battles to fights we are the best cause we have to win and we have more street combat experience. I hope your time with us serves you well over the years, but if I had a combat situation on the streets I ll take C.P.D. anyday. If I wanted a long term investigation with the time and resources for an arrest and conviction you guys are the best. I m glad you have that T.F. patch. In area 1 where I was from 57th and Cottage in Washington Park to 51st and Wentworth we had a saying we d share when we parted. " Up the big red one" for those few who remain who remeber the Tom Kelly s and others like him who were killed in the line of duty ,I would like to once again say "Up the big red one"
