Not sure how this table will show up in the post, but the Bears got beaten in every major category, especially passing and time of possession.
But they still won.
And that is usually Bear's football these past few years. Defense and Special Teams carrying the day while the offense is just good enough to keep it close. Not a bad strategy, but not one that is going to regularly get you into the playoffs and winning championships. The Bears really need an arm that can connect with guys like Hester on a regular basis.

That is messed up - BIG TIME. As a former vet, I am pissed off about this!! I am sorry that I just read/heard about it now, the day of the court date, but if you get any information please post it on SCC.

All year I have watched the Bears games and the Anti-Chicago commentators.
If one looks and listens closely you would hear these assholes talking about every other match-up every weekend as being the "MOST IMPORTANT" showdown between these most important teams. New Orleans was on he edge of playoff immotality if they won and a string of other teams lost and the stars aligned and the bear shit in the woods. Saints were on he edge of greatness but, oops they were beat by the lowly Bears and a third string quaterback.
My prediction for 08, the hyped up assholes will still be liars next year.
How about getting rid of Lovie Smith, the only thing he is missing ia a toothpick.
