First Homicides?
- Police are on the scene of a shooting in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side that left at least two people wounded and two dead.
According to Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor, three people were shot inside a house at 2415 N. Monticello Ave.
Two people are dead from the shooting, according to a spokesperson for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
A two-fer to start the year. At least, it's the earliest one we've heard about that's a fatal. And then we have this little tidbit:
- Five people were wounded, two of them seriously, in what police say may have been a stabbing Tuesday on Chicago's Northwest Side.
The incident happened about 12:30 p.m. near Belmont and Linder Avenues, said Chicago Police Officer Marcel Bright.
Fire ambulances took five people to three hospitals, Fire Department Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor said.
So right away, the Aggravated Battery stats for the year are off the charts! At this rate, we'll have well over 3,294 aggravated batteries resulting in 732 murders. We need more police! And more Detectives! And more TRU!
Or Seiser just needs to step it up a notch. Whatever works.

Wasn't me! Must be those Insane Perogis.........
I had 023 in the Ghoul Pool~talk about a crappy district to pick!
Yeah, let's take a team from each district and stick them in the projects. Where, by the way nothing happened and leaving the districts under manned.
I'm not saying that it would of prevented this, but I'm not going to say that it would have happened anyway.
What I am trying to say is that, this city has gone long enough without hiring more police officers and we have been doing such a good job, that the city seems that we can handle it and we don't need more help.
Stop doing such a good job out there and maybe we'll get some more help and they'll hire some more people.
QUICK QUESTION.
IF YOU FIND A BODY UNDER A HOUSE FROM 2004 DOES THE STAT COUNT FOR 2007?
I WAS CURIOUS WHAT THE DEATH "INVESTIGATION" WOULD PUT THAT STAT.
i have my fingers crossed for a bloody 08..
Ain't no pity in Donkey City.
A running start for bloody 025.
Did the last homicide of 2007 happen in the south end of 005?

Have you considered the possibility that maybe nothing happened in the projects BECAUSE you were there?

025 is the winner of the ghoul pool.
piss on all the bangers capping each other. i'm only worried about po's and legit people being harmed. these wild bucks can blast each other all day long. all it is is a gocr and a few phone calls. today' offender is tomorrows vic. 016 never has gang or tac-- they are always getting sent to 015. slowly but surely you can see a change in area. time to circle the wagons and protect the mother land. bid to 016 and make a difference before its all gone.

Counts for 07
Glad to see that Smiling Jack hasn't changed since he left 012.
Start going up and down Elston Ave. from Pulaski to Milwaukee and you'll see enough section 8 and gang-bangers filling in those two and tree flat apartments and above store-fron apartments. We need police protection just as much as the ghetto districts.
Body under a house from 2004, found in early 2008 would count at 1st only if an RD# was drawn on a murder case.
Hire a lawyer and sue.
Can we awl get alooong?
Hey, don't taze me bro., don't taze me!
