This would explain why the Department is stripping Officers on old beefs and such (from the comments):
- OEMC/911 is sending more jobs to call back in response to the P/O shortage. It's in their C.O. Book and for the call takers to send more paper jobs to ARP.
What ever happened to the Beat copper knowing what's going on, on his Beat, or will call back know more about the Beat than the Beat copper.
Since they need more bodies to do reports at Callback, it only makes sense to strip everyone possible so they can have officers answering the phones.

I had the experience of doing a stint with Unit 376 after a mis-understanding with IAD.
That place was staffed with the 3-"C's" Cripples, Criminals and Crazies. Not forgetting those who were terminally Ill. Those men were an inspiration to me.
The staffing referenced above leaves out the 4th C. COWARDS. Those were there voluntarily who WANTED to be there.
With the current climate of Anti-Police setiment I will be using my camera's microphone capabilities to document any and all street stops or citizen contacts.
Believe me a majority of the crazies at call-back were in uniform "Armed".
Thats why I wore my vest even though I was stripped!!!!!

Call-back (ARP) not only houses the restricted duty officers but the limited and light duty and convalescing as well. When I worked there we also has the "gestation" females.

J-FED claims officers will address quality of life issues when they are free from calls? Also, more foot patrols. OEMC will divert more calls for service to call back. So that is the master plan! Why hire officers. The solution is call back and foot patrol. Redivert tac teams again. TRU unit was instructed to stop making arrests. Who will address the surging gang problem? Some knuckle head from ARP has decided that these BS jobs should also include residential burglaries, not just garage burglaries. Unfortunately there aren't enough personnel concerns or pregnant PO's to staff the place and the Mayor is trying to push the civilianization of ARP. This will allow the midget to hire another 150-200 politically connected relatives of the Toddler and the Midget.

Why isnt the City hiring more police?
I'd love to be a Police Personell investigator right now. They've got to be doing just about nothing!
Why is it when the Mayor, Media, and now Jody W. make mention of the NON Fact that we have 13,500 Policemen, when the real fact is that we're not even close to 10,000?
Yes, we're budgeted for 13,500. And with Atrition, we lose about 40-60 Policemen a month; a shame how even those bodies lost due to atrition arent even filled.
Where is the surplus of monies going since the Mayors not filling those spots? Hell! It's like we have more damn supervisors and exempt members (White Shirts) than we have blue shirts!
I'm praying that we dont get the Olympics. In the event that we do, be sure to hear the Mayor and Jody W. brag about how many extra police they'll be hiring to keep our City safe during the Olympics when in fact the number they'll suggest hiring wouldnt even cover the number of policemen budgeted, but will look damn good to the media and Olympic board.

What the fuck is going on?
Word is that there will be a revision of the general offense case on a an all E Form. It will be termed a diverted form and filled out AND eventualy cleared exceptionaly all by civilian workers.
It was mentioned that they are looking at authorizing the foreign consulates to fill out a form similar to our missle X for "immigrants who claim they lost their papers for their entry/work visa. It started out that they needed a lost and found paper report but the volume was too great for CPD so now it takes a missle to make an ilegal legal.

You have to be a sworn officer to write a police report,correct???? That means no civilians,correct FOP????

Sure; thats the solution to no cars from fleet...just put em out on foot!!!....reduces accidents, no car chases, more contact with the public....so what if there is no responce to calls & arrests; it was never about that anyway.
call back has plenty of help with all of the light and limited duty officers there. they don't need any stripped officers. 911 has been dumping jobs there for years. we also get the calls from people who were just told by district desk crews to go outside and call 311 if you want a report. in reality the people at call back are their because the unit they are assigned to would not make a desk spot for them and sent them there. too many 2 year wonders and blow job queens have to be taken care of first before a veteran who is ill or hurt can get a spot.
