They are not necessary, as police are property of the state, will be kept in barracks and not allowed any interaction with regular people while off duty. Take for example his Deputy Chief, James Keating. Nobody, loser, waist of breath. Daley takes care of him puts him in a sweet spot. Again nobody says nothing. Let anyone else on this department do these things and the mayor would get rid of him. Look at all the people who went down with the silver shovel. The hired truck scandal. Everyone seems to be going to jail but daley. Ahhhhh you got to love justice!

Just because a company is offering it for sale does not mean that cities are going to buy it.
First of the price for the camera, mount and holster. Maybe the gun,too. Could be a big nut.
How good would the video be on a real , real-time police shooting? Gun comes out of the holster, up to firing position, couple of quick shots, gun jumping around due to recoil.....and most likely in low light..?
And the liability issue is too scary for a city to even think about using this....
