As Crimefile reminds us, the US Supreme Court is due to issue a decision in the DC v Heller case that will most likely strike down the DC gun ban, destroy Chicago's ban, and usher in a series of stop-gap measures by Daley and desperate Springfield legislators. The Court will rule prior to the 23 June recess date.

Did anyone read the article in the Sunday Slum-Times about the 3rd generation of Daley’s getting themselves line up to run the City of Chicago after Rich “The Bitch” retires? These people shouldn't be allowed to breed.They have already spread their familial tentacles throughout the city’s business community and seem to think that the exorbitant taxes that Chicago residents are forced to pay is their private largess. How can anyone vote for this bumbling dumbo ? If it wasn’t for his name and membership in the “Lucky Sperm Club” this asshole would be making a living with a broom or shovel. And, he probably couldn’t handle that job.
The article infers that if you want to do business with the city and can’t get a permit, license, etc., hire a Daley, or a Daley crony. Magically, all the barriers collapse. For a price.

Fitzgerald should get busy and put an end to this, in the words of Jane Byrne, Evil Cabal. And while he’s at it he should check out the skullduggery going on in relation to politicians using their office and patronage armies to get their kids elected to public office. I’m talking the likes of Mike “It’s my money,” Madigan using his troops to get Lisa Madigan elected Attorney General. There was a lot of talk about what was going on in that rented office at 9900 S. Kedzie. Then there is William Lipinski pulling a fast one and dropping out of the House race after he won the primary, and handing the U.S. Rep’s job to his pick and shovel son. Then there is Tom Hynes, a really pompous, arrogant asshole. Danny Boy was handed the office of Illinois Comptroller. It stretches the imagination to think that all three members of the LSC didn’t get illegal help from their ward organizations. Ward workers didn’t answer phones and perform various sundry duties for their campaigns while collecting government checks. I don’t think so.
And, all the while Richard Moron Daley does his best impersonation of Sgt. Schultz from Hogan’s Heroes.

Daley will just raise the registration fee to $5,000.00 a gun. Seriously. Nothing will be said in this ruling about what a local or state government can charge for a registration fee. So Daley will do this and we will wait another 7 years for a ruling on unjust registration fees. Amen to that.Quality firearms are expensive.Hell I paid $3k for my vector Arms UZI when they first came out,keep it at my summer home in a class 3 friendly state.
Just thinking. If Chicagoland area is only one of two states with these bans, wouldn't that be an argument against gun bans? Other states don't seem to be suffering any problems. But, wait, I forgot, we have our own way of doing things here.

This is a good thing. I know several citizens who have a handgun for the home. Now, if it is stolen they will report it!
Also, doesn't our states' "Castle Doctrine" trump county and city laws? A guy in Wilmette shot an intruder with a handgun. He was charge with possession. They quietly dropped the charge 3 weeks later. I assume they kept the gun.
Years ago, private investigators were exempted from the requirement to register firearms in the city. They took the city to court and won. The city knows it's on weak ground when they try to violate your second ammendment rights. They count on people not following up or having the means to take them to court. If a group of people were to challenge them, they would win. Where's the NRA on this?

You cannot physically pick up the handgun in Indiana if your not a resident.You can pay for it at the Indiana Cabelas,then have it transfered to your local FFL dealer in Michigan.Doesnt matter if your PO/retired PO or a Priest.

There are alot of Chicago residents that own firearms illegally prohibited by Daley that keep them IN Shitcago.
Cabelas will sell to Shitcago residents.They make you sign a waiver stating you are aware of your State,local laws.
