- Drew Peterson said two friends who reportedly worked with police to secretly record him were only trying to profit on their relationship with him, and any recordings they made will only serve to bolster his claim that he had nothing to do with the death of his third wife or the disappearance of his current wife.
Len Wawczak and his wife, Paula Stark, claim they wore a wire for the Illinois State Police for roughly six months, ending in June, according to a published report in Wednesday's Joliet Herald News.
Police consider Peterson a suspect in the October disappearance of Stacy Peterson, and are conducting a murder investigation into the 2004 death of Kathleen Savio.
This guy loves being the center of attention, whether public, media or private. And if the net is closing in, he's likely capable of some truly crazy action. It explains why he's talking to anyone at all instead of becoming a hermit. He's pathological and desperate to prove how much smarter he is than anyone else.

When Grillo was arrested, an FBI agent told him something like "give Ald. [William] Banks up and it will go a long way to helping you out," Sun-Times columnist Carol Marin reported last month.
Grillo had worked in the Grand-Central police district in Banks' 36th Ward on the Northwest Side. The alderman did not comment on Marin's report.

Based on motive, opportunity and the lack of physical evidence, Drew Peterson will NEVER be successfully prosecuted for even one murder.
Certainly, any police interrogation allowed to proceed despite the fact that he and his attorney would object, is bound for failure.

From what I read in the Times Drew said nothing that put himself over the edge as far as prosecution. This shows the investigators have nothing theyre showing to move their case along against Peterson.

Then there is the question of the Dr. Goof who declared the bathtub death to be a murder before he did the autopsy.

Never looked at this angle before but if he indeed did kill savio he should have enough police experience/sense to have had her cremated so as to eliminate the possibility of a reinvestigation. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit but he appears to be making fools of the investigators out there. The "wired" couple talk, look and act like dogasses.

This gets better every day. Old boy Drew knew exactly what he was doing when the wire tap was pushing him. Drew pushed his button by telling people that he was doing the mopes wife.
