DENVER (KJCT) -- A new kind of warning has come up about protesters gearing up for the Democratic National Convention.
Denver firefighters have learned of a house full of urine being stored to throw at police. An internal memo is warning first responders that disgusting acts are a significant concern.
Protesters in other cities have used urine and feces filled balloons to throw at police and there are concerns that could happen during the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
Democrats sold their souls in the late 1960's giving the idiots a voice at the convention. Now these people think they control the levers of power when all they really do is cheapen the debate and make the rest of the party look like idiots. Here's a little reminder to Denver how to handle this sort of behavior:

Quick answer - very carefully.
About six years ago, I was having breakfast with my family in a restaurant in Oak Park. At a nearby table there were these three old bearded hippie dudes; they had to have at least 180-190 years between them. They must have been hard of hearing because they were laughing and talking pretty loud.
They were talking about their trip to the G8 Summit in Montreal Canada. If you recall the stories from that the city was in a total riot meltdown. Downtown Montreal was in shambles, fires everywhere, police officers, police horses and civilians deliberately injured by protesters.
These guys went on to say that went up there in advance, mapped out the area and planned which locations, mostly banks they would attack. They propositioned piles of rock, had their backpacks full of more rocks and had disguises and tear-away clothing. They had escape routes planned and fake IDs if they were arrested and would demand to be taken to a hospital if they were arrested.
They were real proud of how they tore up that most European of American cities. They were not there to protest anything, to them this was sport.
Stay safe, remember that there are enemies like this out there. They care not for any good that may come from the act of protest, but for the joy of destruction.

I disagree. I 14 and was in the Loop during the convention. Taken to dinner by adults with friends. We wanted to see what all the commotion was and "somehow" ended up in the park. The front line "citizens" were JAGS and the police did what they had to do to control them. The crowds in the back were much like myself...just there to see what was going on and actually having a good time. And no negative interaction with the police. Yes, we did get gassed, but our fault for being where we didn't belong. 1968 Police were awesome, my brother was one! And none of us have ever had to actually handle what they did then.

Years ago, my then girlfriend and I drove to NYC. I made a "misdrive" in Greenwich Village and was pulled over by the NYPD. As his partner waited next to their RMP, the officer asked to see my driver's license.
I opened my wallet and my CPD star gleamed in the sun as I removed my DL. The officer asked "what's that?".
When I explained, he shouted back to his partner. "Hey, Vinnie! He's a Chicago coppah."
Both told me "Youse guys were great during the (1968) Democratic Convention. We watched you on TV."
Obviously, these officers were unrepentant proponents of well-deserved "wood shampoos".
They insisted that we join them for lunch--on them--at an Italian restaurant in the Village. Great guys! They refused to let me pay our end. I left a very generous tip for our waitress.
They even called a Queens pct. where we were set up at a nice, yet inexpensive, hotel, courtesy of a large NYPD discount.

As a member of a tact team through the 60s riots, I thank you for the kind comments. It was truly a great time to be the police. I found the Democratic convention to be the easiest of all of them but of course it had the most media. Remember no one was killed during the convention. Not so with the other riots. I'm all for "re-create 68" I'm sure that a few of us old guys would like another crack at them (they are the same bad guys)they just look different. The Chicago Police Department according to all rational voices and actual witnesses engaged in an orgy of wanton and illegal violence against Americam citizens during the 1968 Democratic Convention. People around the world were disgusted by the spectacle of police officers attacking the media, innocent civilians, and others who were defenseless and in the wrong place at the wrong time. I am so glad to have seen Barrack Obama received so well during his tour of Europe and the Middle East. America can now be seen at its greatest instead of its lowest points such as the police riot at the democratic convention. Get ready SCC its Obama Time. PS Why don't you use your blog to stop Chicago Police Officers from being arrested every six months by the FEDS! WESTSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your dead wrong even the left wing college proffesors at that time stated that the majority of Americans were sickened by the Leftist actions and the media through there bias were the ones pushing the BS story that Americans were outraged by the actions of the Police. The media is still biased none of these stories about Baracks religious mentors would have ever been written if he had not been running against a fellow liberal. Some of his other spiritual advisors as reported in numerous newspapers. Rev Al "Yamuka" Sharpton for starting the race riots in NY over a 80 year old Jewish resident that lost control of his car and god forbid struck a African American or his other spiritual friend Jesse "Hymietown" Jackson or as other people call him the King Of Beers, Jesse long ties to street gangs that he used for himself not to help the African American community.
