003 Shooting - On Video!

It's getting bad over there:

Looks like Commander Crump-Hales's dream of a peaceful resolution to gang conflict is crashing down around her ears. Jack is dead and BK is looking for revenge. That team building (burger building?) exercise has led to new conflicts of frying vs flame broiling, McMuffin vs Croissan'wich and a resumption of the dreaded "French Fries Wars" of the early 80's.

Whatever. For God sakes please don't bring back those muppet McNugget commercials from the 80's!

Where the hell was Mayor McCheese when all this was taking place????

Man when will it end?

We need call in the heavy artillery - patrol these streets with Underdog, Mighty Mouse, and Inspector Gadget to follow up on this investigation and get those responsible charged, ASAP.

History was made this week in the field of Law Enforcement. The Chicago Police Department continues to take the lead in leading the solar system in cutting edge technology. The newly purchase SUV will have an attached billion bulb spot light so that when the 3 officers who are left in the Patrol division are confronted with the regular childish, inane and frivolous community conflict, they will simply activate the light and aim it at the moon. This will instaneously summon all Burger King employees to go into a code red status. Yep..our command van will then be filled with single and double layered Whoppers (because of budget concerns, no cheese will be added), and be escorted to the conflict. Upon arrival, the combatants (studies have proved that food is a non-lethal method for keeping large carnivores away from humans),pass out these delectable, mouth-watering delights to the animals and see the anger melt away. Really...

I paid a visit to Barnes & Noble today and bought a great new read.

But first, on the recommendation of fellow bon vivant Lillie Crump-Hales, the galloping gourmet of Grand Crossing, I just had to grab a double whopper at 7-3 and Stony!

Still, the King has nothing on a full, finger-lickin' slab at Lem's.

Bon appetit, Lillie!

If you're at a bookstore, I highly recommend the following which debuts at No. 1 on today's NY Times (nonfiction) book list:

1. THE OBAMA NATION, by Jerome R. Corsi (Threshold, $28) The Democratic candidate as an extreme leftist, from the co-author of "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry."

You are definitely asking the wrong questions, in the wrong place, to the wrong people, at the wrong time.

You must be a patronage hire, so answer your own question.

This is too funny- Steve Georges' wife actually monitors this blog and looks for bashings about him. She then posts a bunch of "what a great guy" blogs about him.

So I'm sitting around the house myself here trying to figure out nice things to say about the well deserved Commander of 018. Sorry to disappoint my fellow readers.

Ask your clout sure sounds like you can do what you want. Its ones like you that give this job a bad name what you are really saying is I want the pay and benfits, the city to pay for my education, and don't want to do shit. Turn in your star let the department give it to someone that wants to be the real police. Do the citizens a favor also, so they can have a real poice officer.

From the Trib's comments...I found this funny!

Lillie Crunt-Hales is the epitome of the working "real" police. Tough, gutsy, smart as a whip. When others try to compare themselves to her, I respond, "I know Lillie Crunt-Hales, I worked with Lillie Crunt-Hales, and you're no Lillie Crunt-Hales!"

Truth is, be a supervisor. There are a lot of computers at work that you can use. Plus, you have people under you who can be told to search for data and compile data that you need for your papers. Better yet, let those under you WRITE your papers for you. This has been done many times. If you are in patrol, you can get a degree from one of the play college programs they have set up for the police. If you are in patrol and looking for a program with academic rigor, stay out of the busier districts.

The Crump-Hales (L.C-H) "fan" in the Tribune comments posted as "Lt. Michael F. Ryan".

Does he exist? If "yes", is someone else using his name in the Trib blog? If "no", perhaps the "Lt. Michael F. Ryan" imposter could elaborate on this site about this "merit" fool "commander" of 003.

Could M.F.R. be L.C-H herself?

Um, wouldn't LILLIE be a femme fatale rather than a bon vivant since she is a female?

She is a female, isn't she? It is kind of hard to tell.

Or become someone's watch secretary or get on the desk somewhere. I know several house mice who have gotten their degrees that way.
