Good Riddance
- One of two men shot Wednesday evening while attempting to rob a Southwest Side jewelry store died Friday morning from his injuries. Both men have been charged with attempted armed robbery and attempted murder. Three others were wounded in the incident.
Marvin Groves, 40, of 1751 E. 67th St., was pronounced dead at Stroger, Hospital of Cook County at 7:52 a.m. Friday, according to a Cook County Medical Examiner's office spokesman, who said Groves died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Maybe the other offender will do the right thing, too.

The FOP should give the store owner an award similar to the one's you see them give to PO's in the Newsletter.
justifiable....the guy was protecting himself and his property under armed threat.
Family will sue the store owner for buzzing the scum in. The suit will state that he could have denied them entry and the scum would still be alive.

Obama's staff came to the west side to find out the concerns of its constituents without provacation from the residents and is doing what they can at the federal level but he is getting little help from fellow politicans, democratic or republican because they are part of the problem and not the solution. Maybe mass retirements would solve the problems in this city,
