Guns? On buses? Those are gun-free zones, aren't they? Isn't all of Chicago? But everyone is running around packing lately. Too bad Super-Huber wasn't around to demonstrate his security "expertise" that might have entitled him to years and years of our pension money.

Whats most interesting and unsaid about this incident is that it happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF 003.
How brazen is that? A homicide happens right in front of the police station, and the offender gets away. Only in Chicago!
Since ol Ronnie says he is a security expert, is he going to take responsibility for this girls' death, or, better yet, the death of one of our own's child (Blair Holt) last year? I think not. I can't wait til this fruit's clout connection is gone. Eventually, it will happen.
Yes literally running around with guns...the other day in 10 shithead running around with shotgun let out a couple rounds while police in pursuit. Police OK shirtbird in custody. Good job by 10 dist. Unfortunately the officers missed when they discharged.

I will address the issue with technology. Along with checking your bus location on google maps, you will be able to check where dude with the gun is on google maps. If dude is on the bus just wait for the next bus.

Any word on how Heller has impacted this city's policy on guns? The gun ban has been defunct from the day it was enacted, and us non-criminals are getting tired of this "be a disarmed victim" bullshit. The shooting actually happened at 71/Woodlawn, a half mile from the station, the bus driver stopped the bus at cottage, and to Huberman, if you're gonna waste my tax money on bus cameras, it'd be nice to have a clearer picture of the dickhead I'm supposed to be looking for presented to me in rollcall.
I propose the next time a bus incident happens that the bus driver enter onto his laptop computer a new incident number.
Then I propose that the driver click and send an attachment to the blue light cameras on the streets giving a full description of the wanted offender, as well as the copy of the video off of the crime scene bus.
Then, I propose the GPS system locate the fleeing suspect and place him under arrest with video beams holding him till the robots, I mean, police arrive.
The robots are in R&D still, ever read Dick Tracy recently???

Well, in all fairness, it was 003. A desk crew that is too fat & lazy to chase an ice cream truck and a group of patrol officers that are, to say the very least, less than motivated.

I rode the Cottage Grove bus yesterday with the Hoober. He says he will be out riding the buses until he finds this girl's killer, as well as the murderer of Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson. All of the CTA's technological resources will be utilized in the hunt. The Hoober thinks he will get the CPD pension once he restores his law enforcement credentials by capturing these two murderers.

If my new cape was not on backorder at the HERO STORE and my old cape had not been sold by the cleaners for none payment, I would stop all crime on CTA property single handed. I was in a room with a bunch of guys including Ken Hauser (retired Pension Board trustee). People were giving Hauser a load of shit about his vote to "defer" on Huberman. That fucker blamed it all on Mike Shields and the fact that Fox news showed up. Old rughead Hauser said he wanted to do more "research" before voting no. What a fucking cop out! He would have voted in favor of Huberman had Shileds and Fox not showed up.

Actually, Happened at 71/Woodlawn. About 6 blocks from the Station. Was there that night. We had tact, gang, TRU, Saturation, gang, gun teams, and every other car in the world looking for him from Stony to king 71 to 79. Going into abandon buildings and anything we could think of. The fucked up thing about is we had a great description of both the offender and the guy he brushed up against who also possibly had a gun. These guys were gone in the wind instantly...
He will be caught, there were too many witnesses.
Hey great idea metal detectors on buses no wait who should get the contract? Lil' Tommy Bryne had the previous one for all cps schools but now its in his wife's name.Hmmmmmmm Gotta to find another close friend to give to Mayor!
