Roland Burris - Moron
- How lame of a Senator is Roland Burris, the hack brought in by Illinois’ indicted ex-governor to take Barack Obama’s seat? The guy has himself an appointment to the Armed Services Committee. Which means he oversees the Pentagon, in theory. But during last week’s proceedings of that committee, Burris seemed genuinely shocked to discover that the Defense Department devoted so much time and money to science and technology.
"You’re saying that [the armed] services have their own research laboratories going?” he asked Zachary Lemnios, the administration’s nominee to be the Director of Defense Research and Engineering — the Pentagon’s geek-in-chief. Then he asked Lemnios — pronouncing his name “Leonis” — the follow-up question you’d expect from a son of the Chicago Machine: So does that mean you’re the guy in charge of all that research cash?
So where does Roland think all these weapons come from? They don't exist on shelves. Russia doesn't own them and sell them to us. There aren't any "magical" weapon factories - except those that the United States owns and operates - to produce smart weapons, stealth craft and almost "SkyNet" type systems.
This is the best and brightest our political class has to offer to represent Illinois in the US Senate? We certainly hope voters are paying attention.

It is official, we are the most corrupt State in the Union. From the top, Obama to the Governor's office to the both US Senators, to many Congressmen (JJJ and LG are the worst) to the County Board, to the City Council of Chicago, to various suburbs (Larry Dominick of Cicero make Betty Maltese look like Betty Crocker) I won't even get started on the Illinois Legislators.
These guys make the Government of Iran look like reformers.
And the minorities and liberals continue to vote these all these assholes in.

Burris has been a moron since birth. He reminds me of the character in "Being There". Despite his stupidity and incompetence the dopey dumbocrats in this state have elected him to many statewide offices including attorney general. I figure he must have paid someone off to get a law license but how did he actually get through college and law school. Our balless senators in D.C. could still use their authority to force him out of the senate. But he is the ultimate dumbocrat tool and will vote for anything BO wants so Dick "Mr. Investment" Durbin and the others won't dare touch him.

Sad but true, a real shame. The larger shame is that there are many other US senators and members of congress who are equally incompetent.
You had to see him trying to talk in Spanish on an immigration rally. My farts probably sounded better than his Spanish, and people could off understand me better!

I think the Sun-Times headline yesterday was "BURRIS -- VAGUE, BUT NOT ILLEGAL."

The ones I watch out for are the ones who fill in the boxes on the order blank and mail-order that little sign -- you know, it's just like a city street sign except that it has their family name on it.
That goes up at the end of their driveway, and they walk around in matching his-and-hers Lacoste pullovers.

Send in the chunky woman in the fluorescent safety vest who makes her living kayaking around off the beaches at taxpayer expense "scientifically preventing wildlife depredations" -- i.e., seagulls taking a crap -- with her inevitable border collie.
The "BIRD RESCUE" gals over by the former Meigs Field can hit their flashing yellow light and back her up if anything happens.
Based on updated information, Mr. Burris has been downgraded to IMBECILE.
But.....ya can be vague and maybe somewhat inconsistent to be honest.....I mean,ax (Burris) Winnie the Pooh! Question is.....will be put that on his tombstone?!
