Barring an Act of God, my friend and your scapegoat Bill Cozzi must report to the Oakdale Federal Corrections Institution, Oakdale, Louisiana by noon on Thursday, August 6th for a prison sentence of FORTY (40) months for doing what most of us have done during our careers.
Oakdale is 200 miles west of New Orleans in Cajun Country.

Since this shit started with COZZI! Over 2 years I have wrote 0 yes zero tickets! depolicing is in vogue! And to the kids in tru and msf don't believe your worthless leaders they will throw you under the bus for anything to save their worthless souls!

On August 6, 2009, we should ban together and write no tickets, no parkers, no self-initiated arrests, no contact cards, etc. We still need to respond to our jobs in an expeditious, safe manner and make arrests from in-progress calls (robberies, domestics, shootings, etc.) - the honest working people still need our service and should not suffer, but lets lay off the dope arrests, the traffic stops, parkers, contact cards on August 6, 2009.

Officer's should be writing ZERO tickets EVERYDAY..... I know I have been.
Beginning on the 6th of August, and continuing for forty days, no revenue for J-Fuk and Shortshanks. That's a citywide no tolerance for assholes in charge.
I figured out how to get Officer Cozzi's registry number (seeing that made me sick) and i figured out how to send money to the commissary.
Is there an address for donations to a legal defense fund or family fund that anyone knows about.

CAN FOP FORMULATE A PETITION TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE US (OBAMA)?
In other words can someone get a petition together and forward it around the Units of CPD maybe even the Houses of the CFD.
A joint effort here to bring us together and try to support a gjuy that was punished already and was ready to move forward.
There has to be some sort of understanding on the Federal level to this so can someone get this going? With (lets say 8,000 plus signatures) someone should notice!

Not trying to be nasty or unfeeling , but if you were that worried about Cozzi, you should have marched, wrote letters and demanded the prosecution of him stop.
With so many people getting out of jail, such as the convict who was in jail ten years for a murder that one of the Wilson brothers committed, people need to take action.
And posts demanding that fellow officer so the bare minimum increase the public's distrust of po's and it makes a citizen wonder who the hell is going to catch the bad guys if the police won't and why are they crying about a contract when they are saying they won't do the job they are being contracted to do?
It sounds like Cozzi has been treated like a thousand citizens times ten, either way its messed up but do not cry over spilled milk=, get busy and stop these travesties.
