They just looked at me like I was some kind of weirdo, and my wife asked, "What kind of a grown man looks up another grown man's ass for drugs? Are you retarded?" She then told me to go to my room so the adults could eat dinner in peace, so here I am writing to you SCC. Man, some days it's great to be the real police. Anyway, enough about me. On a side note, Hey scc just thought that you should be made aware of a real problem at the medical section. Apperantly Daley switched all IOD cases to a private company called Coventry. This company has denied so many treatments that the FOP is starting a class action law suit. I have been out of work for months now and while my scheduled surgery is not emergency I am in great pain. I even heard of an officer (also IOD) who was in need of semi-emergency surgery who was just denied. The FOP is suggesting that we just get the treatments and that hopefully the lawsuit will re-emburse us. However bieng and IOD issue the hospitals may not even take our private insurance. This is rediculous and hopefully the officer in need of time sensitve surgery will not have to wait much longer. I am in great pain but am still functional. Why is our health and safety in the line of duty being trusted to a private insurance company that according to there website specializes in "cost cutting" Please address this SCC.

Cozzi's designation to a facility in Louisiana was not a giant federal conspiracy. BOP dictates where inmates are designated after they are sentenced. Period. Even if a judge recommends a they be placed at a nearby facility, BOP is under no obligaiton to do so.

The truth is that some of the venues send over tickets for POLICE OFFICERS, they think they are doing something special for coppers, but the bosses glom ALL of the tickets for themselves... they aren't meant for the exempts... but you will NEVER see any of them, unless the event is such a stinker, they can't sell the tickets, then the bosses might let a few loose... it is a sick thing to do, but part of the sick culture here.

Well at least in this scenario, the copper was in the right and the DC was being an ass. In that instance, the clout came in handy to right a real wrong. These other cases are clear wrongs that clout is used to make "right." Therefore are hilarious abuses.

Yeah Tim. I don't know you either but can you confirm or deny the fact that you write police family members tickets?
Just curious. I'd like to know why you feel the need to do this. MOST officers are fucked by this department on a daily basis. The command staff is the worst in department history. Why do you feel the need to pile on?
How would you feel if your family member was not given consideration on a ticket? Aren't there enough legitimate jagoffs out there to fuck with that would allow you to leave family members alone?

Favoritism , Nepotism, etc... I swear if I didn't ave to love in Chicago, I wouldn't. I don't many others would either. As much as I love this city, Daley is making it to where, even as a city employee, you soon will not be able to afford living here.
It wouldn't be too bad if things were somewhat fair. Heck, as a cop, I would definitely try to get out of dodge. Last week I was driving down Damen around 66th or so and counted about 10 cop cars. This was after work. My 1st thought was, the city really needs more cops, because those 10+ cops there meant that other parts of the area had no cops, because the city force is so short. And with guys retiring/leaving, it seems to me that it will only get worse.
I got much respect for you guys and wish you the best of luck. Also, my fellow city workers. The honest, hardworking ones that just want to take care of their families and make it to retirement.

She collects a Cmdr's salary, got a City car (not a new one, but hey, she's not burning her own gas going from Beverly to 1500 W. Jackson & back every day, so beggars can't be choosers!), has no real fucking responsibilities, doesn't have to attend those boring weekly CAR meetings, and is apparently under very little scrutiny or supervision as an Exempt. That's a whole lot better than being Cmdr of 022; Kuemmeth has been reamed a few times at Hdqtrs about crime stats out there.
Being Cmdr of the Academy is one of the least stressful Exempt jobs out there..unless you're Alvarado!
