We're #1...Again

Most stressful city to live in - two years running:
  • ...more pressing factors make Chicago for the second year in a row the country's most stressful city. Crowding, poor air quality, a high 11 percent unemployment rate and free-falling home values have created a cocktail of constant worry affecting many in the Windy City.

Los Angeles, Calif., ranks second, followed by New York, N.Y., Cleveland, Ohio, and Providence, R.I.

Yup. Shortshanks is quite the leader.

We can thank our Mayor for ensuring the unemployment rate reached 11%. Afterall, he did a fantastic job laying off city workers whose unions wouldn't concede to even more forced days off without pay than they had to endure last year, and who were slated to take even more of those days in 2010. Thanks Mayor for keeping the city at the top - negatively speaking.

A5 sat might win most stressfull unit with Sgt once a banger always a banger. Zavala had to change sat from a detail to a unit to keep them from jumping ship and is keeping one po from 15 hostage. Why did we lose 5 guys from the watch in 15 to send them to 14 to hang out at the bars and lock up drinkers? I call bullshit!

Add to those factors pointed out in the article a corrupt idiot of a mayor and his spineless rubber stampers in the city council and you'll get a more accurate picture of life here in Chicago.

Corruption that is accepted as a way of doing business seems more like something you would find in a third world country. But wait, we're in the top three for potholes, just like the other third world countries.

Thanks Shortshanks, you useless piece of shit.

Stress? What stress? I don't feel any stress. My hair line was always this far back. Oh, and my finger nails were always chewed to the bone. What's that? Of course those open sores on my face, neck and body have always been there.

You're crazy! I'm fine.

Sorry to inform you that when I get into my cruiser and take my shoes off to enjoy a little morning java and newspaper, I do not feel any stress. I ask one favor for the young hair gel officers out there. Please turn down your sirens when going to a hot call. I hate to have my nap disturbed. Be safe out there.

Recent pollresults broadcast on the Don Wade & Roma radio show indicate the nations top 10 highest unemployment cities are ALL RUN BY DEMOCRATS, and in most cases for as long as anyone can remember.
It's said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over (voting Democrat) and expecting different results

(26) months without a contract! you bet i am fuc*in stressed out!
**********************************

Get off your high horse. You have a contract in full force. The only thing you don't have is a raise. You still have a good paying job.

I was laid off for 6 months just went back to work last month. I was working odd jobs making nothing. I didn’t complain I did what I had to do for my family.

I hope you get a good raise, god knows you deserve it. But you can go cry to someone who cares, you won't get any sympathy here.

===

And you never complained. Not even once. Doubtful.

And, just for the record, we're all doing what we have to do. We're working part-timers that take us away from the families we have to support on yesterday's salary which is worth far less in today's dollars.

Higher city stickers, property taxes, tax on candy and personal hygeine items, tripled driver's license fees, higher gas prices, higher heating and electric prices, higher tuition and insurance costs, meters in front of our apartments that have to be fed OVERNIGHT and on holidays...

We've PAID for the right to complain.
