Officer Cole Returning Home?

A number of people have written in to say that Densey Cole is returning to Chicago to continue, and hopefully finish, his recovery efforts. The Densey Cole blog is silent on the matter, but we're sure the appropriate District has people on the ball to escort Densey and his family from the airport to their quarters at the rehab facility.

As soon as we get verification of an address for visits, care packages and the like, we'll post it. And a huge thanks to the Denver and Englewood, Colorado Departments for all their assistance during Densey's stay and their incredible hospitality to visitors.

UPDATE: 001 is accepting cards and packages. They will deliver.

an order came out for his escort home. (Keep in mind the pipers are doing on their own time. Give them some support and buy one of their raffle tickets this week.)
Hats off to Colorado.
Best wishes to Cole. He is very determined.

Densey left Craig Hospital here in Denver (Englewood actually) this AM. We (local LE) gave him a nice send off. Our ministry will continue to keep him in prayer.

Great homecoming, police escort from O'Hare to his residence. Was welcomed by CPD pipes and drums at his house. Once again thanks to all the Colorado guys for helping out.

That F***ing Weis and his staff of miscreants have not had any contact with Densey in several weeks.

Weis NEVER visited him in Denver.

It was not until a few of his friends (the ones that went to Denver to visit him for his fundraiser) asked for a few cars for an escort home from O'Hare that the escort was granted. And the Lt. and Sgt. in Special Events almost blew the request off. They had no intention of doing anything to help this officer of his family!

The Denver and Englewood Colorado P.D.'s had a huge send off for Densey with squads and motorcycle cops lining the roadway.

We have to beg borrow and steal just to get a few squads and a piper (on their own time).

The CPD is shameful to its injured.
Weis and his staff could care less about any officer. Do not let them have you believe otherwise.

Didn't the CPD Chief come to the IACP in Denver last week? I'm sure he was here since they had the major chief's conference as well.

If he couldn't even make the time to see Ofc. Cole, WTF kind on person does that?

THAT's the million dollar question we've been asking ourselves here in ShitCago for the past 18 months or so...
