Exporting Crime
It's what Chicago seems to be good at and by golly, we're going to spread it everywhere:
- Three Chicagoans arrested with two children for shoplifting outside Cleveland could be connected to other thefts there and in Chicago, authorities say.
Diana Burton, 64, her son Donald Burton, 37 and Amina Frye, 34 -- along with her two children ages 8 and 10 --- were captured on video Wednesday robbing a Macy's department store in Parma, a western suburb of Cleveland, police said.
The children entered the store with Frye, who is believed to be Burton's girlfriend, and could be seen shoplifting merchandise, police said. When confronted by store security, "a physical altercation ensued while attempting to detain them inside the store," authorities said.
"Oliver Twist 2009."
And this one:
And this one:
- Police departments across the western suburbs hope a series of arrests -- including two rings busted on the same day -- will put an end to a spike in residential burglaries that resulted in a tripling of break-ins in one town.
The burglaries occurred mostly over the last month in towns like Berwyn, La Grange Park, Lyons, Riverside, Western Springs, River Forest, Forest Park and Downers Grove.
[...] On Nov. 2, police from several towns working with Cook County's Major Case Assistance Team apprehended three alleged gang members in Forest Park. Police say they belonged to the Sin City Boys, a gang that operates out of Chicago and the near western suburbs.
Riverside police Chief Tom Weitzel said one of the men revealed in a written statement that the gang was flooding the western suburbs with up to 25 youths to commit the burglaries.
We wonder if this isn't happening in formerly "quiet" areas of the city, too. Drop of 25 or more shorties and let them wreak havoc in quiet neighborhoods.

I will give Aunt Bea the benefit of the doubt here.
When she was the District Commander of 10, she did listen to the blue shirts. Always said hello and knew most people by name.
Nice lady, almost too nice for this job.

True! I see her now and then and She always talks to you. You cant live your life believing what you read on this blog. Everybody has a shithead relative somewhere out there. No one should be compared to them. We all dont think the City deserves an extra dime of our money. If she had nothing to do with the illegal activity going on at her rental property, why would we want her to pay? Im sure she didnt agree with her daughters choice of a man, but how well do we know anyone? She cant use the Department resources to do background checks on him. Sooooo? She has done alot for the Police already. More than most of the "real Police" talking shit on this blog.
surely more money can be made off drug sales than committing burglaries--- some of these bangers are realizing that being caught selling dope results in a much harsher penalty than being caught doing a burglary.....
REBUILD THE PROJECTS AND CONTAIN THESE ANIMALS??????
Well of course there was an altercation, no matter what iz do it's somebody else's fault and ain't no big thang. Got it?
---not a cop
the brother got to make a dollar wtf i hope they the family beats the case if it happen here the city would have gave them a milliom dollar for getting caught the city paid out 185millon as of sept whats a millon more thank rich
Once, while on vacation in the Bahamas, some prick tried walking off with my suitcase at the airport... You guessed it. A displaced Chicago hood rat. Unbelieveable!
Works for me. Export ALL OF IT as far as I'm concerned!
Its a good thing they stayed out of my yard...my dogs love to chew on trespassers !
That's my big beef here SCC. You talked about "Aunt Bea" "Ruthie" "Tina" and ripped them all to shreds. Is it a problem with female supervisors? Each and every one of them treated the troops well, even bent over backward to help. Always said hello, inquired about families etc. Why are we so hard on the one's that help us? We continue to screw ourselves again and again. All three of the above named did a good thing recently and absolutely don't want any mention of it for fear of ruining the benefit. I sit here just shaking my head.
They have no excuse. They can have guns in the home. click click bang. problem solved.
they are expanding, when we arrest these pos in cook county they walk! the judges in crook county are all corrupt weak pos!
If you see them like on the west end of 008 any type of suspicious activity be like the animals and call, the area gets cars because of call volume call call call! On everything! Fuck it!
My formerly quiet neighborhood is seeing an increase, but thanks to an aggressive neighborhood group that keeps pounding home to call 911 when you see a suspicious person, we've recently caught a couple of would be burglars and car thieves. Luckily, we actually have responsive officers in our beat and rapid cars that come quickly when 911 actually dispatches the calls (that has been a problem).
Congrats JFED, you did it!
They R too afraid to break the law in Chicago
You to mayor, nice job
Another tactic they like to use is to head to an outlying suburb carrying a couple of bikes in their vehicle, go out sneaking and peeking on two wheels, and then communicating which house to target.
Using young kids isn't new, Dickens wrote about it more than a century ago.

Don't start thinking they don't have ways to deal with troublesome canines, either.
This week in Orland Park, a burglar got into a house through the attached garage's door, stole the occupants purses, then took their car.
We may not have the money but we'll be sight seeing and window shopping!
Burglaries are rampant in Oak Park. Its Village Manager's Tom house was burglarized this week Tues. Manager seemed to take full responsibility for his home's burglary, saying a family member left home briefly. Why discount fact these burglars are going from house to house, checking doors and windows, and watching homes to see people leave, and the official Oak Park response is still "homeowner to blame". LOL.
Better than my dog...my .45 likes chewing through brain...

My friend is a copper in orland, and they are having a rash of burglaries and home invasions but trying to keep it quiet hope these offenders get shot and killed that is change we can believe in1
I will agree aunt bea is a great person. I will always remember after a Christmas party in 010 I had a little too much to drink and alot of people went to billy goat tavern (or whatever it's called) and I found myself sitting at at table with her and her husband. They offered to buy me food and got me some water to sober up. They also made sure I had a ride home and sat and bullshitted with me until I left. She is a good person in my book.

I don't have a shithead relative out there. I must have been deprived at birth, no shitheads. Shitheads are who moved into my neighborhood when all the decent hardworking people fled to get away from crime and, well, the shitheads.

Sure the homeowner is to blame. Just ask Police Chief Rick Tanksley. They probably didn't blow the Oak Park Crime Whistle loud enough.
Police Chief Rick Tanksley is the only police official I ever saw who wears a gold police star on his uniform and also on his pants belt. Dual stars. Only one gun however.
But let some homeowner or citizen get a parking ticket in Oak Park, whoa baby! Better pay or they will make Chicago Dept of Revenue look like slackers.

What is the assistant chief doing, former CPD Capt. Carl Leidy? He is supposed to have been a burglary specialist, caught lots of burglars in Chicago, did he forget how to do it?

We do that shit all the time on case reports, in review offices, in D Units and Beat Meetings.
Make it an unlawful entry whenever you can...that's the company line.
