We must admit, we're curious now:
- SCC,
what happened in 009 the other day? Word is JPud was at roll call praising the officers and then he goes around and has a little hissy fit and complains about several beat officers and gets them written up? Does this guy get it? Way to keep driving morale down the toilet. The irreversible damage done to the CPD at the hands of this neanderthal and his forehead.
Someone want to clue us in? This would seem on the surface to be the moves of a boss on the ropes.

OT. met with a friend who works at Information Services who ask me I knew anyone in 025. Seems That they are tracking beat cars with the GPS an if they not where their are suppose to be, they get written up. They have already wrote someone up who was logged on, clear and in the station. They're going to expandt it to other districts soon. Be careful out there, they're watching.
Speaking of curious and 009 (or maybe 021), I heard there were 3 people dragged to their deaths the other night on 26th street by a hit and run driver, yet not a peep about it on the news. A plate # of the bad guys car was supposedly provided by a witness as well. Whats up with that?
Is somebody trying to keep this under wraps for some reason? Is the hit & run driver being protected?
What were they writen for, there is still a place for discipline.

If she was 994, a parking enforcement car or a traffic car, why was she waiting for her partner? I guess they have enough man power in 009 that they can put up 10-4 units for parkers and movers! Maybe 994 should now be put on a beat car.

Anything that starts out with "Word is" shows me the poster was not there and just heard rumors. There is a lot of people at roll call in 009, so they should feel safe about proving SPECIFIC details.

What was he praising them for?

What beats was he complaining about?
What was his complaint?
What restaurant was this in front of? Freddies?, Poncho Pistolas?, the new Chinese Restaurant at 31st and Wallace?
I wish Weis would go too, and I would NEVER defend him, therefore if he was so obvioulsy in the wrong, lets hear an accurate account.
An officers asking a hand waver "What do they want" does not rise to the level of disclipline, neither does simply not recognizing a supervisor. So if it did happen, it should be out there and Weis should not be able to get away with it.

Why is it that this department always wants to fuck with the hard working P.O.'s from 025? What did we do wrong? We are no better or worse than the other 24 districts yet we always get crapped on. I am fucking tired of it.
It seems like the shitheads, reverends, alderman, etc... can complain about the men and women of 025 and all of a sudden people from headquarters, ipra, bosses, etc... show up. It is ridiculous and destroying the morale of the officers who want to work hard and make a difference.

I remember I was handling the paper at a homicide (somewhere in Area 2). Some white guy walks up to the scene and I say, "Who are you?" Turns out it was Peterson or Patterson. Whatever it is, just saw the gold star.
Morale of the story is, if we never see you, how the fuck do we know who you are?
Glad to see that our superintendent is out on the street making stops,enforcing laws and the CPD'S Rules and Regulations. Proactive policing is what he expects from the officers under is command. Rules are rules and smoking in a Chicago police vehicle is a no-no. These types of transgressions must be addressed. Thank you Sup for leading us by example.
The female officer involved should say J-Pud tried coming onto her...something along the lines of "Hey, Copette, I really like the way you work your lips around that cigarette". Then she could file a sexual harassment suit and get PossumHead launched.

Yes they produced movers for the watch but at what cost? Having them strut in when they feel like it and leave before their shift is over is a slap in the face to the other working officers on the watch. They were quickly becoming a cancer on the watch. And the partner of the officer Jfed encountered is very quick to front off other officers and refuse to take accidents assigned to them by the zone. They thought they were very special and were quick to let everyone know it.
So maybe Jfed could have handled part of it better but as I said these two brought it upon themselves. They were 100% not legit when Jfed encountered them.
I hate to see the W/C suffer grief over these two knuckleheads because he really is a great guy and he's got a very good watch.
With these two being reigned in his watch will get even better.

The Capt on 2nd watch is a great guy, even those of us that work other watches know he is a good boss. So let him decide how he wants them to work. A few and ugly on the watch seem to feel that they have to have their heads up everyone else's ass.
FYI the car in question is on a mission so yes they get to take a personal/lunch and not get assigned jobs per the WC, but if you actually WORKED the street you would know that.
Both those females hump for the district not just by being 1 and 2 on movers but taking care of numerous benefits/retirement parties for the rest of the officers.

Are you serious? cancer to the watch? If by cancer you mean 2 officers that work their asses off, support other coppers in good times and in bad(via benefits/parties/etc). Never have I met more knowledgeable, kind, and dedicated police officers. They knbow what it is like to be the real police and CLEARLY you do not! The WC from days knows what they do and is the one telling them to write movers, not answer accidents, so get your facts straight before you start talking out of your ass. Unlike you spineless jelly fish who have plenty to say when they think their anonyminity is guarenteed,I have no problem putting my name on what I have to say. Yep, I got cought. I'm the scourge of the department! However, I can also tell you what I am not. I am not afraid to tell someone what I think to their face! I do not have to worry about hiding a yellow stripe down my back! Unlike you, I am not whining while hiding my identity. I will woman up and take my time and if I have something to tell the boss I will go up to him and tell him. I don't have to go in and lie to try and get someone else in a little more trouble, maybe put another day on their time. I imagine you do that a lot.
When I read something like the "cancer on the watch" posting I have to ask myself if the individual who spewed that garbage really believes that he is unidentifiable because he doesn't sign his name.
