And most of the comments on Chicago Breaking News are in favor of the Police. Thats how it should be. You have to like it when an Officer saves a life. Sometimes the Police give life, such as delivering a baby. Other times they have to take a life to save another. You could say the Police are pro life.

He caused a lot of trouble up in 024 last winter after being arrested for assaulting CTA employees, PCS as well as UUW (knife). Fought lockup, assisting po's and shut down St. Francis's emergency room after spitting blood on medical staff stating that he had aids.

I think I am an average citizen and I have the highest possible regard for our police. There's no way I'd have the guts to do the work you officers do. And when one of you gets injured in the line of duty, that is a tragedy that affects everyone.

In my opinion, the best place to buy a vest is Galls. They have a wide variety. Their prices are reasonable and the price range is excellent. Just a couple of notes... You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a lightweight, flexible vest you are going to spend $400+. Again, in my opinion, comfort is worth the money. Also, NIJ changed the ballistic levels, so make sure that the new vest you buy is still in compliance with department standards and the bullet resistance that you want. I would also recommend that you go one level higher,or purchase a quality trauma plate, if you can afford to. The life you save may be your own. For vest covers, VCG on the Northside makes high quality covers.

I don't believe in this "good time credit". Why can't these jagoffs behave like humans "outside of jail"?? Their good behavior points should matter when they are joe citizen, not prisoner #2893476.
I heard that two plaintiff's lawyers had a car accident -- crashed into each other in their haste -- trying to get to the deceased's family's house to sign 'em up for a lawsuit.
