Good idea, but those "Daley" stickers are kinda small. I like the great big billboards that are popping up next to Interstates out on the Plains. To wit --

Percentage of 7th and 8th period furloughs to be either cancelled/pushed back - this dirty little secret agreed to by FOP and effective when the arbitrator returns with his decisions on or before 22 Apr 10.
Officers with 7A, 7B, 8A, 8B, Full 7 or Full 8 segments will have the opportunity to work their furloughs for time-and-a-half in their district of assignment and on their current watch. Beat car assignments only - no additional manpower will be allowed to work the desk or lock-up. Number of officers per district/watch is still being worked out, and will go by seniority. RDO's during furlough segment cannot be worked. Personnel assigned to units and wishing to participate in this initiative will have a "wish list" of their three (3) top districts to work. In the unlikely event that not enough P.O.'s sign-up for this initiative, reverse seniority will be implemented to fulfill manpower needs as determined by the Policy Group.
If successful, this program may be offered for other furlough segments, depending on crime statistics and trends. At minimum, look for this to at least be implemented in the summer months until an arbitrary number of code 9161's can be agreed upon (it WON'T be 13,500, sorry folks).

Very off topic, but there already is talk from the 004th District...and believe me, when the 004th District talks, you listen. The 004th District knows things..how they do...they just do. But come the 1st of June, the whole department will have to be in uniform. They say that everyone will. Everyone. It is going to be policy for the summer months. Also, there will be a postponing of summer furloughs.
You are half right. They can not postpone summer furloughs but they are putting EVERYONE in uniform. From 01 June thru the end of summer ALL P.O.s will be working in uniform on Fridays and Saturdays and during certain events that fall on weekdays. Tact, Detectives, Narcotics,Prostitution,etc. -------------------------------
Saw the above post, and figured I would comment on it. It is not just weekends sir, it is for the whole summer. But. As far as summer furloughs goes they will not have JULY or AUGUST furlough THIS YEAR. They are deeming it a manpower issue. Call the FOP. Problem is those scatterbrains always say, we'll get back to you. But this is what will happen this year. AND THEY CAN DO IT. CHECK THE CONTRACT. As far as the good news goes....there isn't any. Now, does anyone know anything more about the contract negotiations or if a retro check will be given out? Also is it true the detectives that have office jobs in the Area's will all now be designated to the street like they should be?
Do any of our officers in our department know anything more of what is happening with that behaviorial program fiasco? We heard nothing new in a while but figured to put it out there. The FOP has told us that they got some calls and are still hashing some details out. Meanwhile we hear rumors of some guys in their own cliques that are paying private attorneys to investigate their cause.

think about this. this whole big idea of power tests for all these m4's and to get into the new jobs.....what has the fop said about any of this. sounds like job discrimination to me. i mean i'm just sayin. i wouldn't mind having an m4 for the job. but because of certain limitations with my knees i can't pass the running part of the power test at this time. by the way, i am fit as i can bench 450 lbs. though. i am a large guy and know just about everything about guns and have been on the job for a while. the other night at marshfield made me think that if there was any place for a good long shot it was there if i saw any muzzle flashes. thanks fop for sticking up for the guys on the streets you bunch of beatoffs.
To the previous post "The crooked SWAT Sgt testing." How can you say crooked, Sgt AK has been telling everyone who'll listen that the days of getting on SWAT with a phone call are over. In fact when he went through the selection and testing process he........uh, oh never mind!

A couple days ago I was stopped at a light and on a pickup truck in front of me was a bumper sticker that said "dump daley". I dont know if it was in referrence to the little shit in city hall but it was still a joy to see.

Im gonna respond to the alderceature below. Its aswsome that 10-15 years ago alderman had so much power,when they wanted someone arresred ,or a block cleared it got done. Basically everyones just telling alderman fuck u do it yourself.They along with shortshanks r slowly losing power,they dont realize the police run this shit,meaning when the morale is low and people just answer thrir jobs it makes them look like shit

I have this idea but I don'tknow how to do this.
Can Crimefile and/or Northside, or somebody get together and make a You-tube type video to stop Daley. Get it on the web and hopefully it will go viral.

Soon there will be a no-bid connected contractor who's only job will be cleaning off misplaced Daley stickers. Could be any "diversified" alderthief family member who will get the million dollar plus contract. Every year they put out a memo saying that all sworn personal will be in uniform for the summer months. That's nothing new. As for canceling furloughs, I doubt it. I can see then offering "special employment" during your furlough segment to help fill the man power shortage. However those who do will be assigned to 015, 011, 007, 010 and 004. No worries we will save a seat for you in 007 at r.c. just don't bring the coward j-fed with you. and jody, don't call for an assist in either
Went to the visitation last night for the Homewood firefighter killed in the line of duty. Amazing turnout, I heard something like 2000+ firefighters from around the area, and the line of well wishers was out the door and down the block. The injured FF Kopas was there for several hours as well, came in on a stretcher, but walked out with help. Thank God these don't happen very often.

go to the illinois department on human rights and the eeoc and file a formal complaint in violation on ADA. They will hear the case and the city will have to prove why the policy is in place. Because the reason is jfed bullshit they will force the city to allow everyone to carry and train with the M4. somebody needs to step up and file

Your numbers are correct, for title code 9161. Now add FTO's detectives, ET's, canine, sgts, lts., capts, (yeah they are swron too) and you get about 12,500. Do your research before you post. Remeber the old saying. If you keep your mouth shut no one will know how stupid you are. Open your mouth and you will prove it.
The best thing to put on your car to keep from getting a ticket (forget the FOP stickers) is a DUMP DALEY sticker.....

I am sure that includes J-Fled and Masters too, but I wonder if any of the number are "Ghost Payrollers"? These would be people who were hired, given a title, put on pay and pension rolls but were never actully police officrs. There could even be "no show workers", where are all these people hiding.
