Another Blago Twist
- Rod Blagojevich's lawyers say they should be privy to remarks that President-Elect Obama made to FBI agents in December, 2008.
The defense team has filed a motion asking for written reports of Obama's two-hour interview with prosecutors and the FBI, saying that testimony by key government witness John Harris has opened the door to possibly new information concerning Obama.
They say that testimony contradicts the government's previous public statements that Obama knew nothing about deal-making involving the Senate seat appointment.
This opening gives new life to Blago's defense seeing as how Rod was on the ropes after the past few days. He's been painted as depressed, money-hungry, power-grabbing - it's all likely accurate and true. But he needed a better excuse than "everybody does it."

They have Barack Hussein Obama and Rahm Emmanuel. USA Patrick Fitzgerald is too afraid to move on it.
They are afraid of rioting and civil turmoil.
There is NO JUSTICE in the USA anymore. The FEDS are just as inept and corrupt as any other governmental organization.

They won’t allow this, it is not important. Blagojevich is on trial not Obama and they aren’t going to allow Blagojevich's lawyers to turn this into something that it is not. Sure as hell we’d all like to know but Fitzgerald and that Judge know where their bread gets it’s butter. You can bet Fitzgerald is going to play what he knows about Obama close to his vest and get his own payday for it.
i guess some will think this is a desperate act by a troubled and theatric defense, but those in the know will be aware of the obvious, obama was in eyes deep with blago. what else could make sense?
DOJ routinely withholds information that would help an individual defend himself from criminal charges. It takes a honest judge to get to the bottom of this and we can only hope that Judge Zagel is both hones and brave!

If they didn't stop the investigation so suddenly to hook up Blago, they would have netted a much bigger fish, that's what they were afraid of.
The fact that John Harris followed Mayor Daley from the states' attorney to the Chicago Police Department, seems to be forgotten by the press . Harris was a key figure in controlling thepatronage system that is the police department. Too bad some indictments of present or former police brass are not forthcoming stemming from testimoney of Harris. I wish the feds would convene a grand jury and call Harris and the brass to testify about promotions, assignments, contracts etc within the department. It would be interesting.
Feds have alot more on Blago then they did on Ryan. and I am sure they have Rahm and Hussein Obama on tape as well, but i'd agree the fed's are sissy's look at our leader, is that the caliber of fbi agent? What a joke step up Pat and do your job we support you, enough is enough and toss king Daley in the trial as well, he can not be as dumb as he claims to be

If Blago's trial starts to get too close to the white house look for a directed verdict of not guilty. Or the possibility of a nolle prosse by the government.
Either of the above two situations would negate the possibility of Obama or Rham having to answer questions.
Blago may be everything that is said about him, however if he can take down some of the people in the evil cabal in Washington, then I wouldn't mind seeing him walk.

The Feds haven't showed one crime committed yet, a lot of talking, but no furtherance and you have to show and prove furtherance.

WLS and Sean Hannity were talking up the Obama/Rezko/Blago triad. The Feds are trying to quash the Defense's supoena for Rezko, it may not happen.

I agree 100%. They knew if they let it go Obama would be on those tapes and they couldn't risk that since he just got elected, hence the quick pull on the investigation...
Obama is in this too BIG TIME. That's why Blago & co are screaming about play the tapes....they want everyone to know that the annointed-one is heavy into this and that he will get a pass because if it's good for POTUS it should be good for Blago.
America should be interested in this trial, not only Illinois. Our president is machine-made and the heavily-corrupt Chicago politics thrives in Wash, DC.
