the stanley cup has arrived in philly and anti niemi should be the first guy who gets to give it a big fat kiss after the hawks take it all tonite.... a lot of hawks have stepped up big during the playoffs but niemi has been the biggest lightning bolt which has propelled the hawks to the top... victory cigar ready to go and a fridge full of ice cold power pops, commit to the cup !!!!!!!thanx scc for your continued support of the hawks.....

Skull found in debris in Englewood building

An autopsy is scheduled today on what appears to be a human skull found at a building being demolished in the Englewood neighborhood on the city's South Side.
The skull was discovered among debris at 5922 S. Aberdeen St., according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office. No other bones were found.
I'm guessing this is related to Hatian voodoo cult ceremony

The reason no other bones were found is usually because dogs and other wildlife will carry parts of the body a good distance over time. The rest of thoses bones might be scattered all over englewood.Had similar instances in grand crossing before i retired years ago.

I Heard that also. Not sure what the deal is but its being kept pretty quiet. I asked one of the secrataries in the deputy chiefs office in area one and she said that not much info about it but its not an investigation on the police but on fleet. If the feds are investigating it I think its about picardi and the dealings he had when he was at that building. I know there were alot of connected contracts that he farmed out repairs to... maybe its coming to bite him now? Will daley have anything to do with this also?
If the Flyers win tonight, I'll be working an extended tour on Friday. I really could use the overtime. Thank God Flyers' fans don't know how to behave.

What type of autopsy can you do on a skull?
Uh, he dead, might have been human at one time, signs of a bullet wound, probably a victim of a card or dice game. Canvass the area. No witnesses. End of story.

Sounds like 019, 023, 018, 012, 022, 016 went up pretty good, no looting etc but a ton of people pouring into the streets to celebrate etc, here in 009 it wasn't too bad, really sounded like 012 had their hands full but their supervisors seemed to have it handled pretty well, they lost Taylor and Madison for awhile; doesn't sound like that was the case citywide, tac cars getting called to wrigleyville as late as 0130, god job to all that were out there....
and the yuppies called complaining about the police helicopter flying too low
