Since the end of the Blackhawks game last night, we haven't been able to get on blogger at all. Just in case anyone was worried (or hoping) we had been hit by a truck, we're still here, just unable to post.

just heard a rumor the other day that their was a benefit for 4 park ridge police officers who were layed off--- park ridge has money problems ???????--- attention sgt's--- do not take the last three cars available on the zone for one of your suckass missions because then their are no cars to send on jobs and lunches get denied--- suspend all these bullshit missions until the summer is over and things settle down... squad, hold me down on a 19 paul mission....
Hey there is a program called top shot on I think history channel. It comes on sun at 9pm. There is a female CPD copper tara porumba that is competing is a good show. She survived week 1.season started yesterday. Sundays at 9pm.let's cheer her on.
To 9:54, it is true....Park Ridge laid off coppers and CSOs. No more tactical and traffic unit and guys with mucho seniority are back on the street, even working midnights.
The City of Park Ridge pitted copper against copper by offering either layoffs or foregoing raises, furlo days and other monies due them. A vote was taken and the younger guys (including one former CPD officer) were out of jobs.
Many suburban departments are laying off officers. You would think our dept would snatch them up with maybe a month or so in our academy...but Nooooooooo. Makes too much sense.
Yeah, Park Ridge layed off 4 coopers 3 fireman and 2 cso's, so when they ask for officers to work hire back at time and a half why do the existing coppers work it??? way to stand tall.....pretty sad
SCC I'm glad everything is okay with you. I kept checking last night for updates but when the following day came around and there still wasn't anything new posted, I started to worry.

sergeant's idea? No, they come from above. The people above don't care about your lunch or how many cars are up.

Sounds like a hater....always hating on sergeants who deserve every little bit they can get because we ain't got all those Special Enjoyment opportunities that you get. The Deployment opportunities that we have only allow for just one 20 year seniority sergeant to make money, whereas a four year PO can easily get extra money.
