Crime Fears Blown Out of Proportion

Channel 2 has video up of J-Fled saying violent crime is relatively flat and the media is feeding fears of an out of control situation. We can't embed the video, but here's a link to the Channel 2 site.

Meanwhile, here in reality land, nine people got shot about three hours ago in a bus stop near 79th and Western:
  • Officials said that nine people were shot at a CTA turnaround in the Wrightwood neighborhood this evening.

Chicago Police News Affairs [...] said the shootings happened on the 7900 block of South Western Avenue at about 9:14 p.m.

Chicago Fire Deparment spokesman [...] said three of the people were in serious-to-critical condition and six were in fair-to-serious condition. The victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, Stroger, Holy Cross Hospital and Mount Sinai hospitals...
But don't worry, violent crime rates are flat, which we are sure is a great comfort to the nine people currently getting patched up at our fine trauma centers.

This morning, FOX Chicago news reporting and showing that it happened directly beneath a blue light camera. Quoting the reporter, "usually, most people know , don't do bad things because the police are watching. But this happened despite the fact that this camera was right up there and police had a bird's eye view of the area."
Wow, I feel better already knowing that this will be solved soon!
NOT!
They also had a community activist who said that there was another shooting about a block away while the police were responding to the first shooting.
Stay safe when responding to these incidents.

J-Fled was having chronic trouble in trying to get an erection. After weeks of frustration, he finally breaks down and goes to the doctor. The doctor gives him a thorough examination and finally makes the diagnosis.

"Well, there's good news and there's bad news," she says. "The bad news is that the muscles around your penis are deteriorating, and there is no cure."

J-Fled, on the verge of panic for fear of losing his job because he could no longer service da Mayer , finally regains his composure.

"So what's the good news?"J-Fled asks.

The doctor says, "There is an experimental treatment available, but there are no guarantees. It involves transplanting the muscles from a baby elephant's trunk into your penis. Would you like to try it?"

J-Fled thinks about it and finally says, "Well, the thought of going through life without being able to have sex with da Mayer is just too much for me. What have I got to lose? Let's do it."

So the doctor performs the operation.

A few weeks later, J-Fled takes da Mayer to his favorite restaurant to celebrate his new equipment. While sitting at the table, J-Fled feels a stirring between his legs; at first J-Fled thought it was caused by being so close to da Mayer but it gets progressively worse until it reaches the point of being painful.

Seeking relief, J-Fled reaches down and unzips his fly to relieve some of the pressure.

Suddenly, J-Fled's penis leaps free from his pants, slides over the tabletop and grabs a large dinner roll, then returns to his pants again.

"Wow!" says da Mayer, "Dat was impressive! Can you'se do dat again?"

Eyes watering and face flushed, J-Fled says, "Probably...But I don't know if I can fit another dinner roll up my ass!"

This is EXACTLY what Daley & Co. wanted. Ever since J-fled has been here, he has polarized and focused OUR disdain and hatred towards him, thus taking the heat off the mayor.

The public doesn't know how REALLY BAD Fed-Fled is as a police administrator. All they know is what the Daley media tells them. Even when there was the march outside city hall and a vote of no confidence by FOP, Daley just blew it off as police union frustration with contract arbitration.

After all, Daley said. This man was a respected Federal agent who was promoted through the ranks his whole career until reaching a high level of management. Did he suddenly become incompetent, or something. We all know the answer to that. A duck out of water, so to speak.

Of course, everything Daley had to say was quoted and replayed and believed by the sheep Democrats, and the whole protest march was written off by the public.

Rest assured, kid. The old CPD is gone. The old-timers are gone. Pretty soon, NO ONE will be left to even tell the stories of the good old days, when squad cars had the old bubble gum machine Mars lights and no air conditioning! Its all just a fading memory.

Rest in Peace, CPD!

---

Right. No "kind of threat against people waiting for the bus or anything like that."

Except for those NINE PEOPLE WHO WERE SHOT there is no threat.

No sustained burst of automatic weapons fire, no rocket propelled grenades, no roadside bombs, no nuclear detonations detected, no air strikes, no cruise missiles launched. Nope, no threat.
---

"It might have been a matter of opportunity that the offenders in this case perhaps saw some people that they were looking for and that it just happened that this was the time that they chose to execute their attack," Weis said.

Yup, a crime of opportunity allright. You see 9, you shoot 'em. Now that's an opportunity.

When weis says "folks" or "people" do you think he knows what he is saying?

Never in the history of this police department have we had such a colossal moron in charge. He ought to have his retired G-Man credentials taken away for making the FBI look so bad.

I know of at least a couple of former CPD bosses, now working somewhere else, who could step in tomorrow and steer this ship properly.

This is getting downright ridiculous. Does anyone think weis knows how much he is laughed at, ridiculed, scorned and reviled?

Why would he continue to stay in a situation like this where he is so clearly in way over his head?

Shortshanks and franken-Fed are scared out of their wits!

Their propaganda campaign against The Police is starting to backfire... BADLY!

We're quite sure that king shorty had the following plan in mind...

Hem & Haw about running again to keep challengers from getting a firm footing in the hearts and minds of the electorate.

Run on saving money by taking a hard stance against greedy municipal (read wholly as union affiliated...) employees who "selfishly refuse to help the city" by taking a shit load of unpaid days off and pay cuts.... Not to say anything of fiscal malfeasance and incompetence on shorty's part and the city bargaining/negotiating in bad faith, IN ADDITION TO municipal employees being blamed for the budget mess though they have no say, vote, line-item approval over the budget. We don't approve the budget, therefore we didn't fuck it up.

Once shorty is in and the coast is clear, you can be sure he would raise taxes, fees and fines and blame the "greedy Police."

Funny no one dares to ask him to account for the approximately $12 Billion to $15 Billion in tax payer treasure that has been siphoned/pilfered/squandered and flat out stolen by his administration since 1989.

So...

Now the rotting regime and it's decayed-ass membership is trying to keep the public in the dark in regard to how they're playing games with the safety of First Responders and citizens alike.

Even Ray Charles (RIP), both blind and deceased though he may be, can see Chicago is burning. No matter what shorty says and no matter what cooked, crooked, bullshit stats franken-Fed spews from his ass while he has HIS lips lovingly affixed to shortshank's funky donut.

Just wait for it...

The "Ah-Hah" moment is coming for when the smoke clears and the mirrors are all broken.

Only in the movies, it is all over.

I was watching a TV crime show tonight, set in Boston. A detective put a young m/1 on the hood, slammed him down, grabbed him by the neck and slapped him a bit.

I told my wife that he would be fired and indicted for that here. She looked surprised. The detective forgot to say "stop sir" "place your hands behind your back, sir" and whatever verbal judo mumbo jumbo they are teaching now.

What a laugh I had the first time I heard of verbal judo. Why not teach the police mime techniques. We can play charades with them, you know, "sounds like... arrest."

Oh well, retirement real soon. I could never do another 20 here, or ten or even five.

I remember those days, and I remember them well. 5 guys on a hot corner went "just because".

D.C. Arrests cleared spots for the night; no one got shot, no fights, no bullshit calls from that spot.

Movers, guns & dope in the cars, arrests = court time = overtime!

Everyone stuck together, To/Froms all said the same thing when the beef came down.

The Police were the POLICE.
---

And the police were the subject of frequent Federal lawsuits. This activity brought great wealth to Loevy & Loevy and the Peoples Law Office to name just two bloodsucking law firms.

The General Orders and State and Federal Law of today are the result of many past abuses. Chicago is late in catching on and changing strategy and tactics to get in line with the new reality.

It will never be like it was, never. Pretend it is like "back in the day" and you will learn what the inside of the Federal Building looks like, the hard way. you will be spending much time at the Corp Counsel's office giving statements and depositions and you may find yourself squirming in your seat trying to justify your actions of years earlier. Ask me how I know this.

When all officers involved in an incident tell the truth, the to-from reports are never exactly identical. That is a sure sign of collusion and a setup. Identical wording on all officer's reports gets plaintiff's attorneys licking their chops because they can tear great big holes in those stories.

We must find new ways of doing things but not with this leadership team, that's for sure.

Only 13 Officers have applied for retirement in 2011. We still need 87. As of July 26.

young hair g-ls just don't get it
the old cpd didn't ask for permission to be the police

you just did your job , like write tickets , clear corners by arresting aholes , not asking them 5 times to leave , no nickel bag arrests , we did police work
burglars , street stops

alot of disorderly conduct , resisting arrest paper work

do your job , don't blame the bosses , the reason ya don't write movers is because you're afraid to stop these idiots , tvb all of them , let the back log get bigger

This does not sound like an old timer. Old timers don't talk like this.

Thats funny because thats all I hear old timers talk like on this blog. Usually it's in a seniority/overtime based rant.

Keep the faith, keep up the good work.

As George Orwell wrote, "People sleep well in their bed at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would do them harm." Sometimes those who would do them harm wear suits, have degrees and carry fancy titles and real police work would be a bite in the ass to them.

Stay safe, as a white shirt for many years...well, what secrets I will take to the grave with me were all for real justice.
