PCP and cocaine was found in a sick 1-year-old baby who was brought to a West Side hospital by its parents early Sunday, police said.
About 3:20 a.m., the parents of a sick 1-year-old baby arrived at Mount Sinai Hospital where it was discovered that there was PCP and cocaine in the baby’s system, according to Harrison District police. The baby's condition was unknown early Sunday.
The parents live in public housing on the 3600 block of 5th Avenue, police said.
One-year-old and already strung out on PCP and coke. Probably started out on cannabis at 3 or four months, moved on to heroin by 8 months old and now doing PCP and cocaine. Is there no level to the depravity of mankind?

They should have a urine test for ALL on welfare, food stamps, etc. just like when you apply for a job.
You have to QUALIFY to get in. If you pee positive - YOU LOSE. Same should hold true if you are getting entitlements.
If they have enough to buy drugs, they have enough to live on.

AMEN!!! I could never understand why some politician with balls (I know, oxymoron) would really push this issue. Us and many other working people have to pass a drug test to EARN a paycheck and these mutts get FREE money without having to take a drug test!
You wanna clear these so-called budget deficits, here's a great place to start!
This makes me sick, just sick. These parents should be jailed for this bullsh*t. As a person who has is desperate for a baby, I wish I could rip this poor child away from them and give him a chance, because this baby will never have one.
And I give all officers credit for living through this scene repeatedly. I never could, I don't have the balls nor the ability to stop myself from doing something really, really bad to those parents.
God bless all of you who try and help us civilians - law abiding or not. You men and women see so many terrible things, I am amazed so many of you remain generous and focused on doing a good job. It's truly a gift for us non-police.
