Interesting NYPD Lawsuit

Seems someone was fudging the numbers. Seems more someones may have attempted to stifle an investigation of the fudging:
  • Like many police officers, PO Schoolcraft joined the NYPD to help people and serve communities plagued by real crime; instead he was faced with enormous pressure to harass law abiding people in order to fudge statistics. Morally opposed to these policies, PO Schoolcraft refused to follow these unlawful orders and was met with retaliation from the highest levels of the NYPD. This ultimately culminated in an attempt to forcibly silence and discredit him; on October 31, 2009, several high ranking NYPD officials illegally entered PO Schoolcraft’s home, forcibly removed him in handcuffs, seized his personal effects, including evidence he had gathered documenting NYPD corruption, and had him admitted to Jamaica Hospital Center against his will, under the false pretense that he was “emotionally disturbed.”
He's asking for $50 million and according to various posters on TheeRant, he might get it. The feds want to interview him and other cops are coming forward. Brooklyn North may be keeping us updated as this progresses.

This is Stalinist style control.

Daley and Obama would gladly use this tactic widespred if it were not for two things.

First, a Free Press, this is becoming increasigly rare. Thank
God we have outlets like Second City Cop.

Second, The Second Amendment, which insures the all our other rights.

Come on now, I just don't believe it. Why would the brass of any police department encourage lowley P.O.'s to create stats just to make themselves look good. Would the brass actually play games with the rights of citizens and the jobs of police officers? Would they run fake missions and change reports of actual crimes all just to promote their goals? No way! Never!

If you don't think there are those that are worse than Weis you're wrong.

Thankfully, there are lots better too.

Hopefully the next Mayor will find one.

kind of off topic: on a previous thread mention was made that fire engine and truck crews were supposed to be staffed at a certain level per osha requirements--- if osha regulates staffing on fire equipment then how about regulating staffing on a police "watch" to avoid unnecessary risk to the officers on said watch.... the city of chicago is understaffing the patrol division and detective division to a point where it is a danger to both the citizens and police officers---- osha should start fining chicago by the day until they bring manpower up to acceptable levels..

Chicago has a problem that NYC does not have. The Fibune and the Scum-Times are in collusion with the Democratic machine. They'll raise hell if it's a lowly blueshirt scandal. They will even do softball pieces where they pull their punches against Daley. But when it comes to hardball expose of govt. corruption, they'll sweep it under the rug.

I heard the interview with Schoolcraft on publis radio a few weeks back, very interesting. I hope this all blows up in the NYPD and the supervisors get their asses handed to them. If you listen to the tapped roll calls you can clearly here the supervisors telling officers to write more tickets and get more arrests for anything. Why do a majority of New Yorkers sound so dumd when they speak?

Then why do they keep fudging with the stats at 35th st? How about the fudged stats from the "specialized units" that they send to 35th St? There are plenty of tales there, too. Plenty. I will tell you this, the officers who do the inspections don't really know what they are doing.

"...had him admitted to Jamaica Hospital Center against his will, under the false pretense that he was 'emotionally disturbed.'"

The classic "psychological smear," used to suppress dissent.

It was big in the former Soviet Union, and is even bigger here, if you know where to look for it -- i.e., anyone drawing attention to or relating an independently observable event, characteristic, or phenomenon is a "_____ist" and/or "anti-______."

I hope he gets the $50 mil; it'd be nice if the money came from the personal assets of the officials who did this, though, and not from the taxpayers' pockets again...

The juiciest part of the lengthy federal complaint may be found in paragraphs 152 through 190 inclusive. In NYPD lingo, an "EDP" is an Emotionally Disturbed Person and a "bus" is an ambulance.

Unless Ernest Brown is certifiably crazy, his order to identify the ten worst "performers" in each district is strong evidence of retaliation for having illegal quotas and cooking the books on Part I crimes. It will be rescinded by tomorrow. Once the rank-and-file know about Schoolcraft, keep a closer eye on J-Fled's reactions. This should be more than enough to make the lying coward finally resign.

Adrian Schoolcraft rocks.

What is the big deal about ticket quotas. Didn't a NW suburb (016.5) implement them in the 70's, the FOP sued and lost and the courts said it was legal because it was called a performance standard. Didn't myself and numerous other coppers get suspended for coming in 1 or more tickets short in a specified time range (month)?...or am I confusing quotas??

The case report? Criminal damage to property. Bull shit. If and when they catch this piece of shit breaking in to another home do you think they will ever link him to his other attempted burglaries. No cause those attempted burglaries don't exist. You're writing a case report anyway, write the correct one.

Now...

If only the Feds would show CPD exempts some "love and attention" for all the bullshit foisted on us for the last several years, we would truly be impressed.

We can think of at least a dozen current and former bosses and their sponsors/clout and supporters who should be slowly decaying alive to captive skeletons behind bars in Federal custody for the shit they pulled/ continue to pull.

How many of these fools were caught on a wiretap engaging in the furtherance of fuckery only to have the wire "mysteriously" come down and whatever investigation getting shit-canned?

Funny how blue shirts in Patrol have been more or less exclusively targeted and these gold stars are protected at all costs so they can skate off into the sunset without a care in the world.

The Policeman incurs all of the risks and none of the rewards in this town.

"You will work hard, get nothing for it and enjoy it, or else."

Oh wait!

The feebs DID pop Hanhardt...

Most likely because another crooked assed gold star was jealous or Hanhardt didn't pay "tithes" on his ill gotten gain...

We need a Fed under every exempt bed and it will still take a couple of generations to set this Department straight... If at all.

We do hope MOS Schoolcraft abso-fucking-lutely ruins and destroys the lives, careers and finances every last one of those rotten, knee-walking assholes up to and including the commissioner and the mayor.

The same needs to happen here.

The sound of crying behind barricaded office doors along with the sound of sporadic, muffled gunshots and mismatched shoes clumsily running on air after the stool is kicked over will soon be heard here also as it is sure to happen in NYC.

...Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people.

That "we fucked up, let's get him committed" shit has already been tried here in Chicago, half a dozen present and one(now)retired Belmont CPD's and the City are on the hook for a multimillion Federal suit for trying to get a licensed Private Detective committed to the VA Hospital after they dragged him out of his car, boot-fucked him, and seized his guns. (All guns legal under state law, fuck Daley and his rules) They had to give all that stuff back, minus what they stole....extra mags and ammo, stuff that was never entered on the property inventory....and the City WILL pay, just a matter of time, LOL.

OSHA will not do shit, if they could they would not with a Socialist/Democrat President and a Democrat Mayor who helped con his way into the White House. Just like Patrick Fitzgerald hasn't done anything with Shortshanks.

What might do something is the Insurance Industry, if rates rise and homeowner and business can't get insurance.

What will really change things, is if the Municipal Bonds go sour. Then Shorty, or whoever, can't borrow money to steal.
