Party All the Time!
A man who had an illegal party in a shuddered West Side church with a DJ and strippers was locked up two nights in a row.
Early Saturday police responded to a call of a fight on the street, on the 4700 block of West Washington , according to a Harrison District police lieutenant.
When police broke up the fight and used pepper spray or a Taser to control some the suspects, the officers realized the group had “poured out” of an illegal party at a closed down church at the Washington address, according to the lieutenant.
When they found the party’s host didn’t have the proper licenses to have entertainment such as a DJ and strippers and there was a cover charge to get in, 41-year-old Tony R. Jordan was arrested, according to the lieutenant.
Jordan, who resides on Drake Avenue in southwest suburban Bolingbrook, had another similar party early Sunday at the same church, but there were no strippers.
So Jordan was arrested again and charged with having no business license and no public place of amusement license, according to t[he] lieutenant.

Everyone knows that getting arrested is nothing but a minor inconvienence in chicago cook county. They know the dog has no teeth and the courts don't punish anyone.

Religion is a doorstep for political pulpits. No one goes to learn about God or how to be a better person. They go to hear political jive talkers tell them how to vote and where to launder their money.

SCC, when you wrote that someone has a learning disability, you meant the reporter right? Because last time I checked, not even a church that has been SHUTTERED, can shudder, lol.
I'd personally like to celebrate this man's embrace of the free market system.
I would also like to embrace some of his strippers. I mean possibly. Depends on if they look like Jody Weis in drag or perhaps something hotter like Masters wearing a bikini.
It is good to see some officers are finally taking the lead from us up here in the mighty one nine. These parties have to be shut down and severe enforcement action must be taken. I have worked in 019 my entire career, and never have I seen a party get that out of control. If only the beat officers would be proactive, and not wait for a 911 call to have been made, a bloody street fight may have been avoided. Seriously, how many churches would sponsor or allow such an event? It should have been quite obvious that something was just not right. I still firmly believe that these lazy officers and supervisors should be sent into 019 for a period, so they can be properly trained. If that happened, maybe we can help the superintendent lower the crime rate throughout the city.

A few hours in lockup for an I-bond and a class C case that gets SOL'd anyways, and he earns a stack of cash and gets some lap dances.
They think they can make a living from having these clubs. Probably some are but they have better security than the rest. Only in America.

A shuddered church is one where the worshipers tremble at hearing the word of God much like the Quakers would quake at hearing it.
Or the reporter is another victim of the Chicago public school system along with the editor and proof readers.

No teeth in our 'lack of licensing' laws. I just hope they wrote the jagoff up on long forms at 011, and sent his ass to court in the morning. Sometimes, you gotta inconvenience (legally, of course) these assholes as much as the law will allow you to.

They are just like the Muslims who combine their religion with politics.
The first Amendment ensures that the government can't endorse a religion, or prohibit anyone from worshiping a specific religion.
I guess separation of church and state, which isn't in the constitution, doesn't matter to the left at all when it applies to them. But the they sure tried to nail Christine O'Donnell on it.

Iniquity. You meant 'iniquity', right? Right.
They often advertise these parties on cards and fliers. They are places on windshields of cars that are usually parked outside legit bars and clubs. I've found it helpful to look at these cards to find illegal rave parties in the west loop.
Take a look at these if they're being passed off in your district. If it looks like they're advertising an illegal gathering give the district where it's located a heads up. It may keep a fellow officer from getting hurt.
Stop it before it begins.

Illegal party- who cares.
Street fight- who cares.
Even a damn shooting in 011- who cares.
Work in 011 is given importance by how well you can assign blame to the "victim" of any case.
Once you see that the "victim" of these 011th district crimes are full of shit, you'll act accordingly.
Victims in 019, are different from "victims" in 011.
I'll GLADLY take the 019th district detail from 011. I'll walk into these parties and grab a few "digits" from the young ladies of the Fightin' 019th over the toothless dancers of 011
