Where's That Tax Bill?

We won't be seeing those until after the election you know. Kass explains:
  • Here in Madiganistan — once known as the Land of Lincoln — taxpayers are routinely slapped in the face by the political warlords.

And now the Democratic Party bosses are adding a twist. They're slapping you in the face with a Cook County property tax bill you haven't yet received.

That's right. You haven't received it yet. But they're slapping you with it just the same. Here's why:

The bill won't come until after the Nov. 2 elections. And that surely helps the Illinois Democrats and the supreme warlord of Madiganistan, Michael Madigan, the Illinois House speaker from Chicago who also runs the state Democratic Party.
Amazing how that all works out, isn't it? The combine does what it wants and runs on the myth that everything is OK and don't worry about that giant fucking you're about to get.

And let's not forget that the final report on little Alexi's bank failure travesty is being held back until after the election, as well.

Just as the frickin Dems don't want you to see the tax bills before the election, Obama doesn't want the voters to see the results of the investigation into Alexi Giannoulias' family owned Broadway Bank. "Broadway, which the FDIC accused of “unsafe banking practices,” was closed on April 23, at a cost to the FDIC of $394.3 million".

"The release of the report before the election could have been another political headache for Giannoulias in the close contest with Republican Mark Kirk. Giannoulias has been on the defensive over his role in loans Broadway Bank made to convicted felons while he was a senior loan officer, as well as other troubled lending that contributed to the bank’s collapse early this year."

Have seen Forrest Claypool at St Judes more than a few times. He deserves a chance to make some changes to this corrupt city. If he fails to do so he needs to find new employment. I find it hard to believe the FOP endorsed Berrios a Madigan hack. Is Mark Donhue from Madiganville? Mark it's time for you to find other employment soon! He has never said a negative thing about Da Mayo or Madigan at least Bella has the balls to call them out!!!

Anyone who votes for those clowns at this point deserves what they get. It's not like the light hasn't been shined on them already.

The Democrats in this city are a purely criminal organization stealing from the people every day. How many more need to be caught and exposed for the people to wake up?

WTF?

Berrios is the worst of the worst when it comes to slimeball politics and corruption in government. Aside from being Madigan's waterboy and go to guy on the board of review where lawyer Madigan's cases for tax appeals get preferential treatment, Berrios is, right now, under investigation!

Before you kiss Madigan's or the crime family's ass with a vote for the hack candidate, have a look at this Chicago Tonight panel from last week. Fellow hispanic, Phil Ponce, wasn't buying Berrios' load of crap either!

What if private organizations could change your due date? Hmmm. That could cause lots of chaos wouldn't it? There is no reason why the tax bills shouldn't be out when they are supposed to other than political manipulation. Shit like this alone should drive people to the polls en masse.

I just wish the folks that vote for these democrats would identify themselves. You know, like wear a little lapel pin or maybe one of those plastic wristbands. Then we'd know them when we pass them on the street and we could politely walk up and give them a swift kick in the nuts.

Check this out from the Illinois State Tax Appeals Website;

Cook County Final Multiplier Announced.

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Revenue announces the final 2009 equalization factor of 3.3701 for Cook County.

The department is required by law to calculate the factor, also called the multiplier, to achieve uniform property assessment throughout the state. The 2008 final equalization factor was
2.9786.

The department determines the final equalization factor for each county by comparing the actual selling price of individual properties, over a three-year period, with the assessed value placed on those properties by the county assessor and adjusted by the board of review.

If the median level of assessment for all property in the county varies from the 33 1/3 percent level required by law, an equalization factor is assigned to bring assessments to the legally mandated level.

A tentative equalization factor of 3.1062 was issued on June 10, 2010. The final factor is different than the tentative factor because of assessment reductions by the Cook County Board of Review.

The three-year average level of assessments (weighted by class) for Cook County property was 9.89 percent. The department calculated the multiplier to bring the average level of assessments to the required 33 1/3 percent level by dividing Cook County’s three-year average of 9.89 into 33.33.

The equalization factor does not cause individual tax bills to go up. Local taxing bodies determine tax bills when they request the dollars needed to provide services to citizens. The assessment process simply determines how the bill will be divided among taxpayers.

A Cook County ordinance requires that residential property (homes, condominiums, apartment buildings of six units or less) be assessed at 10 percent of market value; all other residential property (apartments with more than six units), 16 percent; vacant lots, 10 percent, property owned by not-for-profit corporations, 25 percent; commercial property, 25 percent; industrial property, 25 percent; and commercial or industrial property being developed in economically deprived areas, usually 10 percent.

Notice the above line (Local taxing bodies determine tax bills when they request the dollars needed to provide services to citizens).

This means we are in for some "HUGE TAX INCREASES" to balance the budgets of these 'OTHER TAX AREAS'!

How anyone can not see this and still vote for the dems. is a complete asshat. And you minorities they are not working for you they are using you. Ask yourself one question, has life really improved for you over the years? and is your community any better off? NOT. Have a nice day and go fuck yourself.

You know they are waiting until AFTER the elections. First, the assessor sends you the estimate that you can never figure out. It doesn't say "this is what you pay"...you gotta get through all their goofy math to figure out your tax bill. ALWAYS challenge an increase.....if you don't, they will keep on sticking it up your ass.

And speaking of delaying things until after the election, Blago's retrial has also been delayed. How FORTUNATE for Rahm Emanual who is likely to be called to testify and become implicated in the raffling off of Obama's Senate seat. With this delay, the Demosheep may have voted him in as Mayor of Chicago by then.

OT....but this is the kinda scum that wants to be mayor of chicago. and danny Davis is right there with him. Imagine if comments like this were made by one of brady's people. SICK!

A West Side get out the vote rally today backfired for Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn when the governor was forced to quickly distance himself from racially charged and politically controversial criticism about his Republican opponent made by the man who introduced him, aspiring Chicago mayoral candidate state Sen. Rickey Hendon.

Several local politicians attended the rally, led by U.S. Rep. Danny Davis, D-Ill., at the New Tabernacle of Faith Baptist Church, 531 N. Kedzie Ave., which was filled with members of organized labor when Hendon launched into his introduction of Quinn by verbally attacking Republican governor nominee Bill Brady, a state senator from Bloomington.

“Let me tell you a couple things. I've served with Bill Brady. I've never served with such an idiotic, racist, sexist, homophobic person in my life,” Hendon told the crowd. “If you think that the minimum wage needs to be $3 an hour, vote for Bill Brady. If you think that women have no rights whatsoever except to have his children, vote for Bill Brady. If you think gay and lesbian people need to be locked up and shot in the head, vote for Bill Brady.”

The crowd clapped loudly as Hendon wound up his sermon-style introduction, some shouting "No sir!" as Hendon ticked off his criticism of Brady.

Those are called "Sheeple." They need an iron fisted dictator to rule them. They can't think for themselves and want someone to take care of them.

They don't understand or want freedom. They would rather be slaves to an intellectual elite that gives them scraps from the table.

Looks like President Obummer and Michelle “Dinner Bell” will be hiding in style 2 days after the midterms. If this isn’t “overkill” for a broke country I do not know what is. It reminds me of all the Californians on food stamps going to Vegas. President’s team has booked the entire the Taj Mahal Hotel, including 570 rooms, all banquets and restaurants. Since his security contingent and staff will comprise a huge number, 125 rooms at Taj President have also been booked, apart from 80 to 90 rooms each in Grand Hyatt and The Oberoi hotels. The Dalai Bummer will be accompanied by his chefs, not because he would not like to savour Indian cuisine, but to ensure his food is not spiked.
