Fraud? In a Chicago Election?
A notary public says her signature was forged on 400-plus nominating petition sheets filed by Chicago mayoral hopefuls Rob Halpin and James Meeks -- a development that raises new questions for the supposedly rival candidates.
A signature and notary seal for Maricela Rodriguez appear on more than 25 percent of Halpin's 1,185 petitions, including 266 circulated by a homeless sex offender, Arthur J. Hardy Jr.
Hardy also circulated 316 petitions for Meeks. Rodriguez isn't listed as notarizing any of those sheets, but she does appear as the notary for 97 of the 4,691 petitions Meeks submitted to Chicago elections officials.
Despite that, Rodriguez, a district manager for a currency-exchange company, says she didn't notarize any petitions for Halpin or Meeks.

its called planting fake signature.
the opposition plantS a volunteer to get bad petitions.
it is the candidates job then to verify each signature. the problem is lack of fundS and no trained staff.
DONT WORRY MEEKS WILL STILL BE IN.
How about the candidates tells us how he / she will handle the pension crisis. I suggest not allowing ANY more money be contributed to alderman pensions until all other pensions are 100% funded.
I hope every one has a look at these candidates. Most are Police, Military etc...

Jesse Jckson's daughter in law involved in a fraud? I just don't believe it! It sounds like a racist plot to me. My God, the Jackson family represent all thats good about the democrat party in Chicago! Think about that for a minute!
Too bad. Halpin was starting to intrigue me as a viable option.
The other day, a bunch of A**HOLES were rallying around at a press conference trying to drum up support for the "Dream Act", (You know, another piece of Obama legislation designed to give away everything we have left to the illegal invaders of our country). On stage were a bunch of people who have just been added to my "Do Not Vote For" list and includes dal Valle, Chico, Preckwinkle (already on the list) and Rahm (wasn't there but supports the Act).
I'm sooo tired of all these left wing liberals wanting to give EVERYTHING away to people who have EARNED none of them.
Will indictments follow, let us hope so.

Had a talk with a woman who works in a school, she was saying how terrible that kids graduate from high school and can't go to college because the kids aren't citizens.
They can go, just can't get federal aid, right?
I told her this and also said if the kids really want the federal aid, do what my grandfather did, enlist, fight in a war and become a citizen thru military service.
she wasn't happy with that answer, just wanted the dream act, and told me i didn't understand because I'm legal.
I Told her hell, I'm a citizen because of my grandfathers fighting for this country, maybe these kids should try that route.
Rahm Emanuel said on Chicago Tonight "“It’s not an honest system for the people who are in it, because these benefits are something we’re going to have a difficult time keeping, and it’s not an honest system to the taxpayer, because we’re going to ask them to do something they’re not capable of doing&hellipThey’re not on a sustainable course. We have to have an honest discussion about the changes that are going to be necessary.”
In other words Rahm is saying he wants to cut our pensions. You can bet if he wins he will do everything he can to get the City out of paying their pension obligations. Anyone Police or Fire who votes for Rahm is an idiot.
