More Crystal Ball Failures

  • Two teens were shot at 75th Street and South Constance Avenue near South Shore High School this afternoon, authorities say.

One teen was taken in serious-to-critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, while the other was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, also in serious-to-critical condition, according to Fire Department spokesman
  • A 20-year-old West Side man was shot and killed this morning following a minor traffic accident blocks from his home, authorities said.

Killed was Brandon Williams, of the 700 block of South California Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
One day, they might predict something we can use. Might. We aren't holding our breath.

I wish the Crystal Ball Unit would predict NFL pointspreads so I can go opposite of them.

according to the crystal ball boys this was actually a success. The computer plotted about 19 different potential shooting locations and only these occurred in the warm weather we had today.. so of course, they are calling it a success saying that if the super computer wasn't here there would be almost 20 shootings... yes I know, complete bullshit.. however, neither of these locations of the ACTUAL shootings were not one of the spots the supercomputer picked.

I don't know what happens to the exempt ranks when they are put in front of microphones and cameras, but they ALWAYS say something stupid.

At the scene of the South Shore HS shooting, 003 Cmdr told the media "Tomorrow we'll be talking to the Chicago Police Dept and Chicago Public Schools."

Yes, he actually said that.

Jesus help us. Tomorrow? Pretty fresh shooting, mind you. Big Valentine's plans, boss? Tomorrow?

Wow! What a great strategy by the crystal ball unit. Pick 20 places on the map at random. Send extra patrols. If nothing happens, you say you prevented 20 shootings. As anyone knows, it is impossible to prove a negative. Too funny.

I have heard that J-FLED is on TV and the radio 2-3 times a week solely to counter this blog. SCC you are truly insignificant.

As for those radio and newspaper appearances: the Fourth Estate no longer exists in Chicago. Your interviewers sound biased and puppet like. It's either that, or you are just plain lazy or stupid. I don't think you are stupid, just controlled.

We can not pick gun free zones as shooting locations since it would make the lawmakers feel useless.

As someone that's been there, it's not as easy as you would think. So...STFU!

Woman shot in both legs on South Side

Waiting for the bus on 63 and cottage.

Why didn't the crystal ball catch this? Why didn't the pod-cams deter this?

If we had that six man do-nothing detail for the Alderman we could have three more two-man cars for this area.

Yeah, I know, I know. You know too.
