And does anyone doubt that if he wins, Rahm won't be sending out teams of building inspectors and such to hassle businesses that provided a forum for dissent? That displayed opponents' signs? That endorsed anyone other than the anointed one? We fully expect the FOP Hall to be visited by inspectors and shut down on some made up pretext, and that's before the next round of contract negotiations and Springfield battles to be fought.

That not so subtle intimidation is rahm style. Yet the sheeple of this city will place their vote for him. Just ask the law makers in DC what they had to put up with, not even the showers were a safe place. POTUS had to put him somewhere, he knows to much. Send him to the land where big money trust babies can put a do nothing freshman senator, along with the biggest political mobster and make him president. at Engine 95 he walked in talked to the guys alittle then when pensions were brought up he pointed at them "You,you,you and you your pensions are gone!"
Then said "If you guys want to keep those nice cars you drive you better get a second job!"
At Engine 8 he was talking to them and threatened 8 hour days. Then when asked about pensions he said
"Well, you're gonna have to learn how to BLEED! "
What a guy huh? Is he out there just wanting to antagonize the firefighters? I heard he's said similiar things to the police side. Even to his security detail. What's up with that?
Rahm's thoughts on the matter:
If its anything the people need: TAX IT!
If it is anything they don't need but want:
TAX IT EVEN MORE!
If it is anything they don't want and don't need: TAX THEM FOR NOT HAVING IT!

Just where is Rahm going to tax private jets? Meigs is closed. Private jet business has pretty much moved to DuPage and Wheeling. What remains at MDW will simply leave. Driving even more business and jobs out of the city.

This is just the beginning. He has not even been elected and he is already threatening and bullying people. Just imagine what he can and will do if elected. He will have his usual enemies list and will take action against any business owner, city employee or anyone else who did not support him. He has also engaged in dirty tricks during the present campaign. When Chico went to Hyde Park to speak at a barber shop, Rahm sent a limo to park in front of the shop to make it look as if Chico came to the engagement in the limo. Rahm also hired a sound truck with a tape mocking Chico to play as Chico was addressing a group outdoors on the west side. The media has turned a blind eye to Rahm's intimidation and dirty tricks. The scum-times even endorsed him. This guy will make people wish for the return of Daley and crew because the devil you know is better than the one you don't know. He hates law enforcement and has no respect for city employees. It will be a rough ride if he is elected.

Is this true? Can this be confirmed? if this was said to ANYONE they must go to their union and report it, then have the union speak on their behalf. This can not be swept under the rug. We still have a lot of "Blind" voters who just go with the flow and feel confident voting for the poll leader, we really need to bring things to light when the RahmFather "Threatens" anyone, especially us. If Rahm wants a bully WE NEED to be that Bully!!!!!

So here's the question.
Are these half million illegal immigrants doing the jobs that Americans do not want to do with Illinois current 9.3% unemployment rate?
Is the population cohort even counted in the unemployment stats. My guess would be no because they shouldn't be eligible for unemployment benefits.
If they are not working then shouldn't we add their total to the unemployment numbers making the real unemployment in Illinois 4.1% higher which would make it 14.3%?
Not to come off as a racist however anyway you cut it there are a half million people here breaking the law -- living here illegally, working here illegally and probably being taken advantage of being paid lower wages and benefits and contributing less taxes because companies will exploit their illegal status.
They due it with impunity blessed by the mayor and the politicians.

Not one of the candidates have talked about what they would do with the police and fire departments. How about some major changes to include transparency on promotions and assignments? There is a national system in place to accredit police departments and take the politics out of them. Many cities have put this system in place. Why did the FOP not talk about transparency in the department? It is about time qualified and capable officers who do not have clout be given a chance for a good assignment or a promotion. We can put Commander Anthony Caruthers in charge of this.
