- This just in seems the newly elected city clerk susie mendoza has contacted cpd she wants a bodyguard detail like the treasurer and burke has. Strangely the city clerk delvalle disbanded the waste detail as soon as he was elected. hey SUSIE saving taxpayers money? Sorry babe no detail for you!
The guy leaving the spot for his unsuccessful mayoral run was without that detail for years. It probably isn't a necessary spot.

That happens pretty often in my neighborhood. I deserve a security detail, then, too.

Rumor is false. She has been a strong advocate for law enforcement, especially the C.P.D., check her voting record.
Why then does the city treasurer have a CPD detail? What threats does that goofy lady have?

I'll not comment on his competence but he definitely did NOT make detective legit. He transferred from 021 to 009 so GRoy could put him in on "merit," which, in his case, certainly means "clout." That being said, his sister is a tireless advocate and is definitely pro-police.
I didn't know the city clerk has the authority to put more cops out on the street.

I worked with the detective when he went to the 008th district from 021. He had some great cases, if that's what clout means, and was a hard worker. The team he was on did a good job, his team mates were all good aggressive police that have been successful.
